with one piece wheels yes
but we were talking about 2 peice wheels in this instance
and even then, the face design of that concave wheel normally doenst change the clearance.
Its the design of hte hub mounting surface length to the spokes that affects it.
no your completely and utterly wrong
face design is the only influence on brake clearance
the face doesnt move when you raise or lower the offset, the barrel does
most wheels have 3 iffered faces
Low, Mid, High
High disk has the most clearance from the mounting surface to the back of the face of the wheel in order to clear large brakes.
yuo can only do this when you order new wheels though
and not on knockoff 1 piece wheels
mostly only 2 or 3 piece wheels
you dont have to downgrade your brakes
buy NEW wheels
not used!!!
You can order a HIGH disk to clear all your brake needs
i have GTR brakes on my cedric, and a High disk clears with PLENTY of room
do you realize the leaniency that your Computer allows?
put the boost controller on
Run the piss out of it, see your AFR values, if they get to lean in said process, back off, add a % or two and go at it again
have any of you ever heard of doing something out of the mold?
Ive had a skyline
Had a 180sx
i wanted something that every fanboy of drifting didnt have.
if you run less boost it iwll make it richer on your tune
if you run more it iwll be more lean
however, im sure your tune isnt 100% accurate as most SAFC tunes arent.
im hoping ot remove almost 200 LBS from the rear of the car to help keep it sideways
might take some from the front as well
Im still debating as i might try and sell it again after this 2 day drift event
IF i dont, its getting ocmpletely stripped nad caged
heh, i put on an R33 Dump pipe, with an r32 downpipe that has be cut, and rewelded into the before axle dump p ipe
my shits ghetto....
i hate it.
i need a new exhaust
