  1. jesus, no wonder people talk crap about aussie style (not me) I can build stupidly radical cars and daily drive them I need shorter FRONT SHOCKs not rear and i dont need to worry about my wheel to shock clearance, because with a breath of intelligence, Im going to run more htan a 18x8 +30 offset. try a 19x9 +20 offset. no need for inner clearance worry. honestly guys, not to be mean, i havent seen one stagea on here even trying what i am doing, just a bunch of people sayign things are unsafe, and stuff. I know what is safe, i know whtas not. With 19s, i will have to go lower to look as low as i want. becuase i have almost an inch and a half more of wheel and rubber combined from a 17inch setup like i have now. and hte exhaust im fabricating wont even hang below the frame rail. even at 3.5 inches Yall are trying to tell me things like i have no clue what im talking about lol
  2. Its not as short as the s14 by the company im getting. this stagea will be lower than any one on this board, and mnost skylines. it takes extremes and enginuity to do it
  3. have you noticed you can sleep in your wheel well? at a minimum go with a +30 al around on a 8j wheel
  4. yeah they both use around the same offsets stock around +30s
  5. but the problem is you guys ar emissing the point and advantages of streching i wont get into it, but its just not for looks. and not only for fittingh tires. there are performance advantages..... but then again id image most stagea owners really arent worried about handling (not being derrogatory, its 3700 lbs car lol its not ideal) either way, any of your options are viable, some will look remarkabley differnt than others and fill up the well more.
  6. its not the ACTUAL shock its just a different length they will all be revalved for the springs im using. I just need the s14 rear shock cartridge length.
  7. i can get you a twin plate for 500 USD plus shipping HKS i think its used, but plenty of life came from a R32 GTR
  8. lol well since then i cant use the airbags because of clearance issues in teh fenderwell area that could damage the bag. its too wide So instead, i found a setup that i can mix and match all the parts from different nissans and get the valving i want to match the aggressive spring rates i want. more to come.
  9. stretch isnt for look, its for fitting. when they do it for looks its stoopid
  10. it does, its just huge i like the 25 size, it will give it a little stretch, and stretch is good, as long as your low. if your not go 35
  11. i envy you, i have my AVCR sitting here im too lazy to install
  12. thats anal. ok now why i know why some aussi cars look like they do then. that cleared up alot of stuff i guess
  13. what is on your gauge cluster surround uyp there? and i envy you for having that sticker up there. mine doesnt have the stagea sticker!
  14. Ok, im selling my Silkroad section coilovers. they wont go low enough for me (but i guarantee they will for you. i want to tuck front and rear tires) Springrate is a 12k front and 10k rear Its comfy, not extremely stiff. Im moving up to a 16k 14k setup adn i have to mismatch all different parts to get what i want. So someone buy these and get a slammin deal on 1400 dollar coilovers no leaking, rust or anything, i will even coat the lowers with a fresh coat of silver to make em look like new. These are STAGEA SPECIFIC COILOVERS not pieced together gtr/gtst setup. it is the stagea application. retail on used Silkroad is normally around 900.00 USD FOr you guys, so i can try and hook someone up 750.00 USD + actual shipping price (ill let you know after they are shipped the price) should be under 100.00 or so hopefully.
  15. i do too, but white gauges in a black interior looks boy racer as well. function over form anytime
  16. im going to laugh when your going down the road, you look at hte horrible placed gauges and hit something Honestly, Outstanding work, it really does look good. But gaues *NEED* to be within your line if sight ....a better idea woudl have been on your steering column, bottom right of your cluster (wont block anything) or to the right of the dash. I reallllly like the plate you made, fits extremely well. But you will never be able to monitor them, when you need them. are those 52mm gauges?
  17. why is the speedo so important? Keep a second set of wheel so when inspection comes around, you have a stock rolling diameter wheel. i do it. its important in japan too
  18. well its ideal, becuase ifyou cut out that small amount of plastic right there. it slides into that opening of the door. no worrying about fitting etc etc.
  19. if you do install them in the rear, put them to the rear of hte handle the front is too harsh on the front if your not a fan of loud tweeteres
  20. you got all of htem right but hte S button is all time 4wd i read recently. i had no clue what it was either I drive wiht O/D on all the time, with it off it puts the tranny down another gear becuase you loose your overdrive gear. which is annoying at times with a loud exhaust. and on 5 Yes just throw the power on and o/d off. if your in lower speed twisties if your constanly going at a faster rate, you can leave it on becuase you will actually get to a higher speed ...i think. it makes sense
  21. if you HAVE to base it on that I dont listen to tire manufacturers they tell people things dont work becuase most people are retarded and do stupid things. 225x40 if you want to go lower you can go 215/40 but some people think its unsafe. its not. But hte need to go with a smaller tire has to do with a few things First How low is your car? Im running small tire sizes becuase i like to tuck tires in my wheel wells. if you dont need to do that go with a 245 or so its "Safe" or whatever but larger tires on 18s looks funny. and it will make your car sit higher.
