well, a transfer case MIGHT burn out ya know, if i had a front driveshaft. but thats besides the point. the fact is, its been proven a 215 on a 9 is no problem by many people hell ive put a 215/45 on an 18x10. no problems we shall see , in the next three years i own my stagea (ill sell it in 2010) if i have a tire unseat a bead, then ill give someone my GTR brakes. and a license only means that, a piece of paper. I have done a lot of stuff, and because i don't do it as a profession (but instead i work on jet engines) i haven't needed to get the licenses. And a manufacturer says stuff isnt safe becuase of idiots that do stupid things. a 215 on a 9" wheels is hardly bad at all. ive seen worse like a 195 on a 9 thats crazy.

so um yeah I was wondering, can i use an S chassis diff in my pumkin? Like out of a 180 (200 or)silvia etc etc or does it have to be out of a skyline I knwo the r200 diff fits on an S chassis with the change of hte rear cover. any ideas?

yes, well since that post i could out i had silkroad RM8 Stagea suspension on teh car. it has a noticeable body roll, but the new airride setup i am going with will help that it uses the coilover as hte strut, and a bag as an infinately adjustable spring rate lol

im going to be running 18x9 +25 front and 18x10 +15 or so rear fits like a glove with a small roll!

do it right the first time Get some gold foil Line the tranny tunnel and floorpan with it that will solve almost all your problems i would put some thermo blanket on teh floorboard also for secondary measure

i can get GTR front calipers right now for 200 USD if someone wants them two sets
