Picked this up dam cheap (well for perth anyway) had been complied but was yet to be lic and was missin heaps of bits, its an absolute pig to look at but i'm a spraypainter so in good time it will b lookin all sweet. At the mo i'm not to concerned about paint cos then i'll start stressin about leavin it anywhere or pushin it when on the track. anyway the specs r: 89 Cefiro factory 5 spd man RB20det R34 turbo GTR fuel pump china FMIC full 3" turbo back exzorst M's pod filter Tein HR's (actually A31 spec not S13) adjustable castor rods front and rear strut braces pineapples set to "drift" hehe Uras steering rack spacers Hicas lock bar (altho upon installing this found the hicas rack was already locked in place with shims) 17" Volk copy rims Wonder copy body kit very dodgy japan spec respray from grey to white JJR deep dish steering wheel full 6 point roll cage JJR fixed back drivers seat on Bride superlow rails Autogauge smoked Boost, water and oil pessure gauges fly off handbrake button Future mods External gate on stock manifold (gettin these cheap of a mate or i wouldnt bother yet) Shims in my tired viscous till i can get my hands on a 2-way have a GREX oil filter relocator, just gotta buy some lines and an oil cooler for it 5-puk clutch GTR injectors Remapped ecu Adj tie rod ends either get current coilovers rebuilt or get some new ones they r a bit bouncy in the front and an artistic one for teh hell of it
  2. it was a P plater his mate dropped him of at his car he drove 100mtr and was pulled over blew 0.02 when taken to the station for 2nd check blew 0.00 and was allowed to leave. The cops could of easily targeted the ppl doin burnouts. The helicoptor was overhead long b4 cars rocked up and they claim to have this whizz bang flash new camera up there. It wouldnt of been hard to pick up the number plates of the ppl doin burnouts if its a great as they make out. The police reaction was a bit over the top but at the same time last nights events have made me have 2nd thoughts about headin to coastals tonight and i'm sure a few other ppl as well. So the police may of succedded in what they set out to do.
  3. i drilled a 1mm hole in my mbc and i have noticed if i accelerate slowly but still let the engine rev right out boost will slowly climb up to 15-17psi and hold there but if i smash the loud pedal staright to the ground boost will shoot up to 13psi and hold there. got me confused...
  4. there is 2 ways out of that carpark the main one at the harbour end appears to of been the worst one. i went to the back one behind the sailing club buildings and was waved straight thru.
  5. I did c a GTR badge on the back but yeh that means nothin could well of been a gts-t. Was some pretty serious damage on the drivers side tho and the way it had been left was pretty suspicious
  6. was an impressive turnout and the cops did seem to b pretty laid back about it all ....... until ppl started doin burnouts and yellin abuse at them then within about 10min polair1 had dropped down low with spotlight and all exits were blocked. I was lucky enough to b just waved straight thru the exists despite bein low, dark tint and full cage. Was some nice cars there u dont c very often but as was expected the dickhead factor was high
  7. this has been happenin in perth for the last 40 odd years. Heard stories of a Yellow XY GT that used to bait ppl into racing only to pull them over a short while later. Wouldnt b suprised if they tryin it again.
  8. when me and peta were drivin home tonight we spotted a white R33 GTR on the side of Reid hwy just after Alexander Drv lights. Had some pretty serious damage down the drivers side from rear 1/4 all the way to front and front bar had been ripped off. Was just sittin parked half way up on the curb. Any1 know anythin about it?
  9. as far as i know this ceffy is owned by a guy named Punk, also owns a orange and black rb25 ceffy seen sliding at Barbagello often.
  10. i found the instructions for one of these in .pdf form a while ago. Try searchin "first gen afc" should b able to find what u need then

That is the national DOTARs regulations hand book so as long as u build to them guide lines u will b fine and can get half cage permitted. Full cage is strictly NO but u r allowed to have mounts to bolt in front bars for off road/ track use
  12. its opposite the actuator barb, but probably about inline with the lower edge of the brass barb. If that makes sence
  13. one thing i have noticed since drillin the hole is that sometimes boost will only go to 10psi, other times will hit 15psi. Not sure whats goin on, seems to hit 15psi in 1,2nd gear but 3rd and 4th will only hit 10. I'm thinkin i might of drilled the hole a lil bit to far down and the hole is actually bleeding of the boost rather than the spring and ball bearing controllin the bleed rate. might braze up the hole at work tommorrow and try drillin another one a lil further up.
  14. i decided this mornin to try drillin a hole in it figured if i stuff it it's only $25 for a new one. Anyway drilled a 1mm hole on the opposite side to the actuator barb i was worried i might of drilled the hole a lil bit to far down. fitted everythin back together and threw it back on my car. All i can say is every1 should do this!!! my boost needle no longer drops below 0 on quick gear changes. Boost still bleeds of a lil at high revs but seein as mine was droppin 2-3psi b4 at hi revs i'm not really phased. An easy 5 min mod has made my car performe heaps better.
  15. i got one of these last week, at first i wasnt very impressed with it. The one shown on ebay was blue anodised with brass fitting san dstainless steel bolts what i recieved was a unit sprayed black with vice marks on each side, brass fittings and a s/s bolt. Thats about my only complaint about it visually. Installed it piece of piss. Initially set boost to about 15psi on a RB20+R34 turbo. Was proabably a bit much for the turbo and would bleed of to about 13-14psi. Wound the screw out a bit to 13psi and it holds it sweet now.
