  1. I've had this car for 2 1/2 years now, and it's been an absolute blast to drive, and has been faultless... but I now need something bigger and with offroad capabilities as I need to move more gear around (got bitten by the camping bug, and MX-5's don't carry much in the way of camping gear, nor go offroad well!) 11/2000 NB8B (Series 2) MX-5 Red (scientifically proven to go faster*) 6 speed 115,000km Great condition soft top Leather seats Brand new Achilles ATR Sport tyres Aircon Registered until 13/06/14 Located in Brisbane With the exception of a drop-in K&N filter, she is stock as a rock, and has been incredibly reliable... will be sad to see her go. It's got 80% - 90% complete logbooks, and the 'big' 100,000km service was done on schedule. Looking for $11,500 for a quick sale... Drop me an email or call to arrange an inspection *May not be scientifically proven
  2. I have for sale my black 2001 172 Mk2 It's got 129,xxx Kilometers on the clock, and i am the third owner. I've had this car since June 2007, and it's always been serviced by Cartwright Euro (the Renault dealer) on the Gold Coast As far as i can tell, it has never been in an accident The only mods to this car are the addition of a sub in the boot and an aftermarket rear muffler for a bit of a throatier note (both done by the previous owner) It's time that i move on - I'm getting 'too old' and am looking to replace it with a 'family' type car... You can contact me at [email protected], or via PM if interested The car is currently registered, but will sell unregistered due to it needing a little work to pass a roadworthy... The main things that would be needed are new front shocks/tie rod ends, and some new tyres I'm asking $7800, which is a steal as these normally sell for over $10k+
  3. you seem also to have forgotten that i bought you guys a bottle of spirits... i think it was vodka? (that you asked for, in lieu of the carton of beer) when i bought the car in for the pre-purchase inspection. I still stand 100% by the fact that you did cause the damage, but it looks like we'll have to agree to disagree. The issues are indeed in the past, the car was sold and i've moved on to different cars since then, and like i said, you guys were happy to help out (and did so twice, which i did thank you for) and i don't have any problems with either you guys personally, or your workshop, or your workmanship. As for your last comment, i didn't forget... but you obviously forgot that i 'repaid' you for your time and effort
  4. welcome to the forums ECC... Hows it all going? You're at Kedron now? Why the move? I see your workshop burnt down... what's the go there? I never did end up hearing back from you guys after you promised to contact me about the damage you did to my bonnet when the car was in there being looked at for a pre-purchase inspection (for someone else)... not that it matters now anyway, as that car's gone, but i hope your attitudes have changed since then, as you seemed like a nice bunch of guys, willing to help out... until something went wrong and then you didn't want to know me
  5. morning whores.... anyone know of any dyno dynamics dynos in Brisbane that i'd be able to book in to today?? i don't want to use Mercury Motorsport.....
  6. still looking awesome mate! just a question: i noticed in those engine bay pictures that it looks like you are re-using some of the old heater hoses etc? Considered changing those for newer ones? The reason i ask is i know on the RB20's in R32's that they can sometimes pop with old age etc, and i'm sure thats the last thing you want to happen with a brand new rebuild of... well.... everything! lol!
  7. interesting.... how long between losing the points and getting the letter saying they won't insure you any more? was your insurance up for renewal when you got the letter?
  8. Franky, why did Shannons 'pull the plug'? just out of nowhere you got a letter saying they won't cover you any more? if so, what was their reasoning?
  9. $75 for 5 fish? cheapskate! go the $120 for 1 fish option anyway, back on topic
  10. suuuuure you were bryn
  11. Shannons will insure under 25's.... i'm insured with them for agreed value, with all my mods, and i'm 23
  12. how long do the meals usually take to come out after ordering? reason i ask is i start work at 9, so i'd need to leave by about 8:15 - 8:30 at a guess
  13. awww, byes Anna! I never actually got to meet you, but from every thing i've heard, you're a pretty cool chickie! hope things go well for you in Sydney
