  5. Hi All! Well, i'm sure most of you know that the next Tuesday night dinner was/is going to be at the Warner Tavern on the Northside, to accomodate for us 'northside folk'.... i'm going to be completely selfish, and going to go against convention, and ask if the dinner can be moved to Monday night, as i'm actually working on the Tuesday.... does anyone have a problem with this! :evilglare:
  6. do you have any pictures of the interior? i'm after some trim pieces for mine, and i want to see if you have the same interior as mine or not... also, what condition was the diff in?

  13. guys, correct me if i'm wrong, but it's not actually sydneykid who is putting these together - it's a workshop. perhaps the workshop is held up? perhaps you should be chasing/blaming them, and not sydneykid?
  14. if they have the guy, then its not very hard to get the location of the car from him.... whether or not they'll do it is another thing, as its not exactly 'legal'
  15. well, it seems i may be able to get one to play around with / see how liveable it is, without actually having to buy it... my little brother sold his RX7 a few weeks ago, and now he has his heart set on one and is looking to get one in the near future.....

  18. i'm not sure if there'll be a big 'influx' of them... there's still not that many up for import, and they've been able to be imported for 6 months or so, yet there's still only a handful of people who have them...
  19. congrats chris... welcome to the dark side.... just when i'm considering heading back to the other dark side again (toyota) p.s. i need some help installing those rear speakers
  20. i don't understand the people who say they like the JZX100... they look CRAP! and the interior... *shudders* the interior on the aristos looks crap in photos, but is actually quite decent in r/l
  21. Been thinking recently about how tough it's getting for modified car owners, and also re-assessing what i want in a car.... while it's fun to have something that's quick and nimble, there's always a trade-off (in the case of my '32, it's comfort, NVH, driveability etc) I've always wanted a nice cruiser, that's comfortable and easy to drive, and the way things are getting with police attention these days, sleepers that don't attract much attention seem to be the way to go. I was looking through a caryard a little while back, and came across a Toyota Aristo - very sedate looking sedan, but with a mighty 2JZGTE under the bonnet and supra running gear Had a good look at the car - they're very well appointed in terms of features/extras etc... not sure how they drive, as i'm yet to drive one, but from what i've seen of them, i don't think they'd be too bad.... Now getting older, my focus on what i want from a car is changing.... it used to be to have a good handling/quick car, but these days (in my old age ) i'm leaning more towards comfort and driveability, not attracting lots of police attention, but while still having a bit of poke.... what does everyone think? Here's an example of what i'm talking about... p.s. if i got one, mine would be black, with possibly sunroof/leather (if i can find one in good condition ) preferrably with alot of the option boxes ticked, and i would just put a nice exhaust, some nice wheels, air filter (still in the factory box) and some dark tints on it.....
  22. Hi All, Testing the waters to see how much interest there is for my car... if i can't get the price that i'm looking for, then i won't sell it... i don't really want to sell, but am toying with the idea of getting a nice sedate cruiser (i.e. not an all-out ball-tearer ) Here's a bit of info on the car: 1992 R32 Nissan Skyline GTS-t M-Spec approx 210000km Recently had its major service at 197,000km, in which the following items were replaced: Clutch Slave Cylinder Timing Belt (Gates Racing) Idler and Tensioner bearings Water Pump Fuel Lines Fuel Filter Cam Seals Crank Seals All Belts Coolant Flushed Gearbox Oil (Redline Lightweight Shockproof) Differential Oil (Motul Gear300) Has a reconditioned radiator with new end tanks (reconditioned approx 6 months ago) Just replaced the rear rack ends and the rear steering arm balljoints Front tie rod ends were replaced just after major service. The car is serviced (spark plugs, oil filter, oil) every 5000km Religiously looked after by conservative/mechanically sympathetic owner (i.e. car gets driven like your grandparents are driving) The car made 171.3 rwkw on only 11psi boost Car has run a 1:03:xx on both the Sprint and Sportsman circuits at Queensland Raceway Car is registered until February 2007 Exterior Mods: Nissan S14a Rims with GoodYear Revspec RS-02 Tyres, in 205/55/16 (tyres approx 50% remaining) and Nissan R32 GTS-t Rims with Bridgestone RE55s (SR Compound) Tyres, in 225/50/16 (approx 70% remaining) Rear Wing Removed, and Boot Welded Up/Resprayed R32 GTR or GTS-t Type M Sideskirts and Rear Pods R32 GTR Front Grille R32 GTR Aluminium Bonnet Interior: Nismo Leather Gearknob New Leather Gearstick and Handbrake Boots R32 GTR Steering wheel R32 GTR Drivers Seat Autometer Boost Gauge Impakt's NissanDataScan Consult Interface GReddy Turbo Timer Suspension & Braking: Kings 'Lows' Springs front and rear (Fitted 26/07/2005) Bilstein Shocks front and rear (as above) Flying Performance Front Strut Brace Generic Rear Strut Brace Whiteline 24mm Front and 22mm Rear, Blade Ajustable swaybars Whiteline Adjustable Front Camber Bushes (Fitted 26/07/2005) Whiteline Adjustable Front Castor Bushes (as above) Whiteline Adjustable Rear Camber Bushes (as above) Whiteline Subframe Lock and Align Kit (as above) Custom made Hicas Lock Bar Ferodo DS2500 brake pads front and rear (only a couple of months old - barely worn) DBA 4000 Slotted Rotors on the front Machined standard Rotors on the rear Motul RBF600 Brake Fluid Engine: Flying Performance 3" Front/Dump Pipe Combo 3" High-Flow Cat 3" Kakimoto Catback Exhaust (extremely quiet) K&N Pod Filter Custom Heat Shield for Pod Filter Heavy Duty Clutch of Unknown Origin RB25 Turbo with RB20 Actuator (increases base boost) R34 GTT Sidemount Intercooler with Custom Piping GATES Racing strengthened Timing Belt D2 Fuel Pressure Regulator Walbro 255 Litre/Hour Fuel Pump GReddy Type S Plumbback BOV TurboTech Boost Controller set to 11psi Remapped ECU Chip mapped by DrDrift There's probably a heap of things i've left out, but i can't think of any more at the moment... if you have any questions, feel free to post them here, and i'll do my best to answer them for you! Here are some pictures of the car from 27.08.2006 (Still looks the same) as you can see, the car is well looked after, and is probably one of the cleanest around... and some of the dyno chart: I'm looking for $18,000 ONO Car is located in Brisbane
