because for what i use it for (i.e. driving it to work, in peak hour traffic) it is just not what i need any more.... i need/want something that is easy to drive in stop/start traffic (i.e. Auto) and with leather interior, and lots of torque available (without having to rev the hell out of it to bring it on boost)... also, due to limited parking when at work, i sometimes have to park it on the street, and i spend all day worried sick that a bird will have crapped on the car , or someone has keyed it, or reversed into it or broken into it etc.... i just want something everyday that is comfy and cruisey, and will 'blend in' so to speak.... also looking to buy something for cheaper than i sell the skyline, as i'm looking at buying an investment/rental property, and some of the money saved from selling the skyline will be going towards that

what i want to know is under the new water restrictions, you are apparently allowed to water your garden with a bucket 2 times per week (they're looking to extend this to 3 times per week apparently) - what if i don't water my garden? am i then allowed to use that water to wash my car? They're also saying that they're now going to be monitoring houses, and anyone that uses more than 800L per week? (or day, i can't remember which.. but i think it was week) have to fill out forms to say why they're using so much water... if you don't fill out the forms they're saying they will cut off the water supply to your house.... *old XXXX ad background music* i can feel a lawsuit, coming on! that is in breach of the basic human rights... the UN would have a field day with this shit!

This makes me want to cry back in about 1999 or 2000, when i was looking for my first car, i was looking at buying one of these (well, the previous model... an LC GTR... but there's not really a great deal of difference between the two) from a caryard.... it was $6000, and in immaculate condition.... i was seriously contemplating buying it, but my old man told me no, as he thought it was too powerful for someone on their L's (yeah, right.. ) so i had to pass on buying it.... put it this way, if i had bought it for 6k, it would have been an awesome investment as the prices of the old musclecars are skyrocketing lately.... such as: This and This and This The prices of these things are only going to continue going up... a genuine Ford Falcon Phase 3 GTHO went for about $960,000 at auction the other day (can't find the exact price at the moment though) and old Monaro's like HT's and HK's are fetching into the low 6 figure bracket these days... its nuts!

It actually used to have a full GTR kit on it (front bar and spoiler), but with the old suspension, one point of the GTR front bar was 2mm too low, and i got defected for that.... so instead of spending $$$$ on the suspension at that time (i spent it later on though ) i put on the front bar that you see in the photos to clear the defect.
