  1. i'm keen on that as well.... i don't think i can justify forking out $1500 for an AP Engineering PFC, when the stock computer will do the same thing when socketed/chipped/tuned (Mine has been chipped and tuned by DrDrift in the past, so would be interested to look into getting the equipment to do it, and how easy it is to do... not so much for myself, but if i rocked up at a tuner's workshop with the equipment and said "can you tune this" if they'd be able to do it?)
  2. from the description you provided above, i have a fair idea who you are talking about Konrad....
  3. i'll be up there next month too... lol
  4. ah! dammit! if i'd known u were up there col, i woulda got you to pick up a set of rims for me!!!!
  5. not quite
  6. haha, okay, i take it this was aimed at me.... just because you 'think' you can take 'good' photos, doesn't mean you can! so thanks for that, but i retract my offers... your on your own!
  7. does this car by any chance have a white 'shopping list' down the passenger side front guard/door?
  8. hey mate, are we able to get any more/larger pictures? especially of the gutter rash? also, how do they balance up? do they have any buckles etc? do you know the offsets? Jason
  9. i'm not trying to offend you or Jyo here Cyph3r, but that car needs alot of suspension work before it would make a 'good' track car (i make this comment after watching how it handles at track days etc)
  10. geez guys... put your e-penises away
  11. turbotech boost controller = designed/sold by a guy on these forums for about $35... also retailed by DrDrift works a bit differently (Better) than a bleed valve... brings boost on faster etc.
  12. this one is actually my brother's.... just advertising/selling it on his behalf.
  13. That's the problem... I HAVE contacted Mud, I HAVE offered my services, i Volunteered to give up some of my spare time to do some photography for the calendar..... 2 years in a row... both years i was told "yeah, sure, would love to have you help out with photos, blah blah blah".... 2 years in a row i've just been left on the wayside, left not knowing what is happening, had it all organised 'behind my back' so to speak. And then there is always bitching from the execs that they are too overworked or too busy etc, when they have people volunteering to help out yet they just get ignored... i'm a bit sick of it to be honest.
  14. hrm, nice how i was told this! getting rather annoyed with the way things just 'happen' around here /rant
  15. yeah... stupid me thought i could walk down the road to get lunch before it hit... i got halfway there and the heavens opened up.... it was someone had opened some floodgates somewhere.... i got drenched, and then hailed on... fun fun! LOTS of rain in a short time.... High street was completely covered from one side to the other in water about 10cm deep at one stage, and it was flowing like niagra falls (was difficult to walk across) so now i'm sitting here at work in the aircon, soaked to the bone, and freezing my ass off!
  16. depends on what the weather is like! (in terms of if i get off my arse and wash my car this week sometime ) but yes, more than likely be there in the '32
  17. i run some big-ass century thing.... barely fits in the tray, and is 500ish CCA i think... had to replace the battery terminals to bigger ones too.... will get the model # when i get home... i want to find a small battery (physically) with half-decent CCA (enough for the car... does anyone know the factory spec?) that is lightweight... hopefully i can shed about 10kg on the r/h front of the car by going to a smaller battery!
  18. i work until 9:45 that night, so unfortunately, unless someone feels kind and wants to bring dinner up the road to me, i'm out
  19. i've swapped a shift with someone at work, so i'm able to come now! yay!
  20. it's not as simple as that... i wish it was... this is a big issue that's been discussed MANY times in the past... basically, the tuner is claiming the tune as his own personal "Intellectual Property" and therefore locking it so others can't access it (even though it would be completely useless to another person, even with a car with exactly the same mods as no 2 cars are the same) the other side of the coin is you paid for his/her services, and effectively the right to own the tune as well.... so, as you can see, it opens up a whole can of worms as to who is in the right and who is in the wrong etc.
  21. haha, yes.... don't piss Phee off!
  22. i'll probably be out.... i feel dead today... no energy... need sleep....
  23. bah... i thought we were actually going to get something interesting in motorsport, instead of v8supertaxis... the carerra cup cars are pretty batshit boring too!
  24. So, is the change in the oil feed necessary when switching from RB20 - RB25 turbo? I had mine changed a while back (running a std R33 turbo at the moment on my RB20), and the workshop claimed that it all bolted straight up fine, no modifications required at all? Or is it solely to get more oil flow to the turbo?
