morning all... went and got some happy snaps this morning... here's one that i thought turned out half-decent:

drove next to/behind/in front of a black R33 GTS-t on the Gateway motorway heading southbound between bracken ridge and eagle farm last night around 8:30ish. Rego was 005IFF i was in the green Pulsar

i wasn't trying to have a go at anyone, was just a genuine question, as the last post in this thread was about 2 months ago, and was just wanting to make sure it was still going ahead, as i want a calendar again for next year if you guys need a hand with any photography etc (not that you probably will, you seem to have it covered) i'm more than happy to help out

Hey mate. I did a track day back on the 12th, and i ended up putting the Bendix Ultimates back on the rear a couple of days beforehand. The problem still exists in street driving, though i did not notice it at all on the track, and it seemed very well behaved actually, so it could just be that the rears are working alot more efficiently on the street, and the fronts aren't getting the chance to come up to temp properly... still doesn't explain why it was doing it with same pads front and rear though

it doesn't seem to drift to any particular side, no.... can go either way, dependant on which way the car is turning, or the camber of the road etc. running standard LSD, that is fairly shagged (single-wheels alot of the time)

this still going ahead? doesnt seem to be any updates on it lately?

another way to get the 'lappers' and 'hoons' involved, that normally WOULDN'T attend a track day/whatever, is to possibly to have this facility set up, and then, maybe once a month, run a free half-day, invite-only session... the idea of this is to head out on a thursday/saturday night, and if you see someone driving stupidly/recklessly etc, 'invite' them to come out to the facility, free of charge, and see how their abilities 'really' stack up....? it might just scare a few of them into slowing down when they realise they can't drive for shite... i dunno... just a crazy idea i had...

i'm just glad you and your g/f are okay, it could have been alot worse... at the end of the day, cars are replaceable... you and her aren't... i say keep the wreck, and part out as much as you can, and then take the rest to either a wreckers, or simsmetal... at least that way you'll get a bit of money back (maybe 3 - 5k?)

gtr seat is fine and dandy... has seen much use!

r_speedfreak_r, as long as your car is well maintained, it will be fine... i've seen all sorts of cars out there running, from dead stock, to highly modified... doesn't matter if your car is modified for track work or not, you'll still have fun out there
