  1. frank, doesn't matter if you have nothing illegal on your car... they will still find something to fine you for... when i was sent to the pits at pineapple street a while back, there was a girl there in a brand new SS Commodore Ute... she had literally driven it off the showroom floor that morning, yet they still sent her to the pits... she had a fine/defect, but i can't remember what it was for...
  2. ah... so basically if you were driving down the highway, doing nothing at all wrong, you would have been assreamed last night.... nice
  3. so what happened? did they block off the highway and search every car or something?
  4. care to elaborate?
  5. will keep an eye out for it mate p.s. Konrad... that note is a fake.... see over there <---- for the reason
  6. stupid question, but you said the starter felt like it wasn't using much effort to turn the engine over... i take it you're doing the compression test by kicking the engine over using the starter with the coilpacks off? have you checked that the starter is actually engaging and turning the engine over? I.e. are the belts at the front of the engine turning when you kick it over? like i said, sounds simple, something worth double-checking though...

  8. ah, bugger dave! What was wrong with it? If i'd seen you, i woulda stopped! There was a R32 GTR that was broken down on the side of the highway one time, i stopped and tried to help out, but his clutch was dead.... so i hung around until the tow truck arrived.
  9. i was actually after 2 x Original R32 GTR rims... but thanks anyway

  11. Hi guys, I bought a BF 1kg extinguisher, with steel mount (with rubber strap and a clip) to hold it in place. where is the best place that you've found to mount it? I was thinking maybe directly in front of the passenger seat? (side to side, so the ends would be facing the door and the driver) Also, how do you mount them? do you cut out some tiny circles of carpet, drill through the floorpan and just use some bolts/nuts? Is there some other way? Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks, Jason
