is it a knocking noise? or more of a whirring type noise?

what is the Nismo diff? 1 way? 1.5 way? 2 way? does it come with everything needed to bolt straight into an R32? you say it is in good condition.. is there any play etc in it? any weird noises?

Don't go with RB74's if you don't like dust.... I just purchased some Ferodo DS2500's... will let you know how they go, dust-wise.... though they'd probably fall in your "Kamikazi race pads" category

hrm, i know its not likely seeing the weather around here recently, but is it after the car has been sitting idling for a while, or after a hard drive etc?

has the car been feeling sluggish? is it noisier at all when under boost? you may have a slight leak in an intercooler/inlet pipe? checked all the clamps?
