i want them because the top of my headlights are slightly damaged, and this would cover them, i have the same front kit as that GTR and looking at getting a vented bonnet. I'm trying to make the car look different cuz too many ppl do the same thing. I agree with all bout making the car look clean as i am very fussy with what i put on my car. No stickers, none of this black and white 2 tone. If it looks off then it won't be going in/on the car.

the only thing i don't like about the ebay ones is they make it the car look 'sleepy' where as these have a more of an agression look to them. but this is not the only car i have seen them in other photos, what would be involved in making a set?

I've been thinking maybe i want some eyelids for my car but not sure about the ones on ebay. I like the look of these ones (attached) but never seen them for sale anywhere...can someone help me out on where to find these or does someone make them perhaps. I really like the fact they go to the bottom corner of the light and not just straight across. Thanks

Finally decided to put some money into my skyline as it still looks much the same as it did when i bought it 3 years ago. I have a 400r front bumper, im after 400r sideskirts, was only thinking pods for the back (not standard ones), but may consider full bumper if matches the rest of the kit. Any colour, but standard white preferred. Clear front and side indicators and eyelids. and a 3 gauge holder for din pocket. Don't know how i'll go; but if you got something, a pm would be appreciated. Cheers.

I'll have to give that a go, mine has been doing it and it has an atmos + plumb back bov. My car is known to die though while driving but only when braking quickly after a boot.

Hi looking into purchasing a vented bonnet for my skyline, but not sure with legalites etc... I have found this website http://www.blitsbodykits.com.au/nissan.htm which has the bonnets which are apparently ADR approved (Australian Design Rules?) And don't need bonnet pins, which is basically what i want. I want something the cops can't pin me for; is painted the same colour as my car and don't have bonnet pins hanging out of it. Has anyone dealt with this company or know of any other companies that suit the criteria above? better price etc? Cheers

has anyone got a close up pic of the boost controller, standard. As i have a vaccuum problem where when i hit higher boost, it fells like the pressure is dumping out the exhaust. played with the hose that was broken and it is not doing it anymore but don't want to have done the wrong thing. cheers

i don't think many people change the series 2 steering wheel cuz it doesn't look shit like the series one, but as someone said to my mate your an idiot if you get rid of an airbag. If you are in the right frame of mind you just wouldn't do it.

Sounds like you've tried b4....do i have to remove the intercooler from the car, is there any harm in doing so (pull off and straight foward put back on after cleaned. ^ This was for the intercooler right? or will it work for both?

I have a 400r front kit on my 33 and it has that silver diamond mesh stuff, just wondering if there is a product i can use to make it shine? I would probably pull the front bar off to do so, as it needs repairing anyways, but while it is off, thought i might give the intercooler a clean...i have read that if you use a toothbrush and some mag cleaner this can work, but says you need to clean out the intercooler with a hose/water very thoroughly. Is this true/safe?

well they cant be that big cuz if you look closely you wouldn't be able to open the door without hitting, but im guessing they are there because there is no frame on the window. Because there is no frame in the window the wind can get in behind it, if it is strong and you are going fast it can flex your window outwards. Not sure if this would be the case on a skyline but is for other model vehicles.

righto thnx for that i will give it a try, the boxes aren't ported, i have a ported box in my vl for a sony xplod, and it goes a lot harder than both R's together, so im used to more bass Umm i will have to search through my headunit for that other stuff, i had a look but wasn't sure wat most of meant so i haven't touched it. I was going to make fibreglass sub boxes for these subs, would this be recommended? when you say the box is important, do you's basically just mean thick walls and the cubic measurements on the inside of the box??

it was a mazda 3, ive heard the clipping b4 as i had swapped amps over and the other was making that noise with one sub with higher volume, so swapped them back, so the amp that was popping over the bridged channel is on the speakers now, but am noticing a static noise in the front (not sure about the back) speakers. Subs are working fine though, just not as loud as i wanted... So what would be good hz for 6" splits and componets? cheers

anyone?? I'm guessing that the sub is only single coil because it doesnt have the 4 ports at the bottom of the sub, but when researching the sub its says they are dual coil.... I know gain pumps more power into the sub, but what is safe?? and crossover; someone told me it should be set around 50hz...is this right, if this is where it should be set where would you use 200hz/400hz?? Hi just wondering what all the the features on a amplifier mean...i understand Low Pass and High Pass but Crossover and Gain? I have (what i believe) a 400w RMS Alpine amp, and running 2 x Apline type R 12" subs.... Also are these subs just single coil, as i don't feel i am getting enough bass out of these subs as i have been in a car with a cheap stereo setup and were pumping a lot harder (at least 3 x times more) note : The rca are connected from 2 cables into Y adapters that is why it is 1/3 2/4

Hi does anyone know where i can get a pair of aftermarket upper control arms for a reasonably good price, the cheapest i have found is 450 for a pair and have found 750 ones but that is all i can find, can anyone point me in the right direction. As i was looking to get someone to try and spin up some bushes for the arm but both sides are squeaking like shit now, and i don't want to piss fart around with it any longer. Cheers

Hi, just wondering what sort of alarm i can get....i currently have a mongoose mx40ii, but there is no siren. And with the current break-ins into vehicles, it doesn't matter what you drive now, they will just smash your window to get the shit inside. Now i think that my current alarm does not have sensors to detect, if some hits my car or breaks in, so i'm shopping for one that will.... I would prefer to keep it mongoose as I've heard good things about them, but the main thing in an alarm that i ask for (besides doing what an alarm does) is for it to engage itself with me having to use the remote. Currently i lock my car with my key, walk away while it is still running, and about 20seconds after the turbo timer drops out and the car turns off, my indicators flash arming the immobilizer. Also when buying an alarm system are there instructions in the box to show how to install....Some people might say just take it to a professional, but it is something that i would love to do myself, not only to my car, but others.

i was getting told it was because there is no bracing on the under side of the bonnet, and neither the CF or FG have it.

I recently heard that carbon fibre bonnets are not legal, and im guessing that would refer to the fibreglass ones too....is this true???

Yeah i watched it too, seems like they towed them all away; the Monaro had an immobilizer. Apparently the lady across the road from where it was stolen from seen it happen, but the husband told her not to worry about it; not their problem.

I wouldn't really worry about it weakening the structure...do you plan on rolling your car?? I made sure my 33 i was buying had a factory sunroof so i didn't have to worry about installing one.
