I bought my touch up paint from 3d paint, give them the colour code from under your bonnet and they have the mixture in their system as long as it is an original colour. I rang a jap wreckers in brisbane cost me 50bucks posted to CQ, 60 dollars for leds(30'000; brightest i could find) bout 60cents for resistors. and 40 for paints so far. Heres mine so far, except the gap between the top and main part has been filled with sickaflex and painted....only problem im having is painting around the letters, its sorta mounding from the letter to the back part on a 45degree angle sorta and not squaring off?¿? if ya can understand what im trying to say. I painted mine black everywhere bar the letters, then gone white everywhere, so it looks like a normal series 2 during day. shines through well enough i believe.

It does back fire occasionally, but ive never checked the cat, probably should...and check that it the same size as the exhaust. It sticks out a fair way behind the car, it looks funny cause its straight out and has a baffle. Not a very big tip, bout 4 inches i'd say. i guess i'll google it, i do have the k and n cleaning kit, but don't want to use it because of it being a red oil. Thnx.

Hi was just wondering how i can clean my pod filter...I have a K&N filter on my VL and have the cleaning agents for them, and people have told me to use them for my BLITZ Pod filter which is blue...now i don't believe i should be using red oil on my blue filter...just thought i should probably clean as i have owned the car for 15months and have not yet cleaned it....Also can this pod filter be hosed etc etc. Cheers Also while I'm at it, what is the main cause for black shit spurting over the back of my car. Is there anything i can do myself about that or do i need to see someone about it?

Never mind thought it could've been something stupid like, the dash was apart, put it back together and all is good.

what do u mean? I'll unlock the car all indicators flash, but when the car is running i cannot use the indicators. they just dont work, so bulbs are fine everywhere just don't work when i use the indicator arm.

there are 4 there but not sure which each does, having troubles removing the top one

Hi was just wondering if anyone had a list of the relays for what they do. I'm mainly looking for the indicator one; as the hazards still work but the indicator doesn't. As my dash is blue i had leftover blue leds and thought i might just throw em in there, but it only caused me problems, it might have been a bit much for the relay. I just cannot locate this relay in particular.

I believe the ones im looking for are the upper control arm bushes....queried a suspension place and there are different sizes...what size do i have to get? R33 Front drivers wheel

Hey just wondering where i can get bushes from, did a search and it didn't help me. I also need a strut cover and a new stud thread/bolt (its been threaded; from when my wheel came this close to falling off) Also would i get urathene ones or just rubber heard the urathene ones will eat through your bolts after 100'000 kms. Thanks...I was just querying it, because i put LED lights in behind my dash in the vl, and worked the resistance on 12V. This was 440ohm, but only come in 470ohms (closest). if i was to work it off 14.4 then i would have needed about a 560ohm resistor in it. They been in there for 2 years and haven't played up... I'm working on making the illuminated skyline garnish for the 33, and didn't want to blow up the leds cuz its like 60bucks worth. I'll just work off 14.4 as it is a safer option. And have worked out that it has the bigger resistors in it. 14.4v - 2.2v = 12.2v 12.2v / 0.075A = 162.66ohm

Just wondering how many dc volts go through the brake lights while on like tail lights and brake. 12 or 14.4?

Umm, what does the BOV do to make carbon build up in the AAC? That is y i always thought it was fuel.

I does not have one....But there is like 1000 dollars of blow off valve there, it gotta be something else its just gotta be

clean the AAC Valve, mine shuts down, not so much recently but has. Do u give it a boot full when it cuts out?

I bought one from Brisbane, It was gonna cost me 100 bucks to get it delivered to where i am (8 hours away), but got a mate to pick it up while he was down there. Paid $425 for genuine painted and delivered. Someone will want it....you live in Sydney it shouldn't be hard. Advice when installing try not to break your plugs when removing the old wing, unless new one comes with em.

O that poor boy...they are everywhere though....Wasting money into piece of shit cars....i see their kind everyday. I reckon if a couple of hot chicks pulled up in a skyline or silvia beside him, and he was to rev it up and take off like a knob, they would laugh at him...those knobs can only pick up high school girls cuz they know nothing about cars. Well the AAC valve was dirty, bout 8months ago and i cleaned it out, bout 3 months later it started playing up again....i will look into changing the filter,,, haven''t been driving it because i have pulled the seats out. The seat belts...the front seatbelt...the retractor does not work, the back one the spiral spring thing had a blow out, had a 2metre strip lieing in behind the back seat. Im guessing these things have to be bought in whole...with the back one, wat about the casing cover (the one that fits in the black pillar) how do i remove this from the belt?? And the front one... how is the top pulley thing for the belt removed? Is it a click cover with a bolt underneath??? (cuz i have seen the back one) And it seems like the belts have been changed b4 too. the dates describe it was manufactured in 2000 and its a 97model. And can i get a recommendation on a fuel pump..are the normal ones shit? wat would be good 4 good price? Anyone that can help me plz help...my car will stay off the road till i get the belts done. Hi just wondering if anyone knows the specific differences in a standard skyline to a 40th anniversary. Just every time i read of a 40th anniversary its always an 98 model; and mine is a January 97 model, i have badges on the back pillars. Not sure about a number under the bonnet, it has a silver dash, and red calipers front and back, and a sunroof, It's white. Has anyone got the same car? Pictures? Thanks, Julian

Hi just wondering a few things if anyone can point me to another relating topic or tell me off their head would be appreciated. Car seems like it dumps fuel when put into neutral, RPM gauge goes to 0 and increases again, occasionally doesn't....so just wondering where the fuel filter is? Is this it in the photo. If so what is the replacement model? Do they have them in the booklet things or just go to repco and ask? That and the fuel pump location. What is this thing above the fuel tank under the metal plate? As i want to redo my custom boot, and will probably put the amps above it (make shelves). Will my BOV cause damage to the above side of my bonnet if it continues to damage the black straw stuff? Can this be prevented? How do i get to the retractor for the seatbelt? do i have to remove the backseat; if so is there a tricky way to remove them or just unscrew the 2 bolts on the front? and does that casing just pop off? I found 1 screw that needs to be undone. And where can i get a jack to fit in the slot in the boot, only skyline, or other model cars as well. Cheers, Julian

So where does the boost pressure come from, can you point them out in the pics i have displayed or not? Compressor outlet/ piping (on the custom pipes?) It Looks like it is under the inlet manifold...I'm taking his word for what is there as he would have been told while it was getting fixed. The car was running about 6 months ago, he paid a bloke $4500 to get it fixed. Then a bolt came loose and was floating around the engine, so they pulled it apart 6months ago, and have just forgoten where they pulled the hoses off. I'll try get some pics up of his.

Pics of my car, not his. He has Super sequential HKS BOV and external wastegate down under the inlet manifold. Two hoses out of the charcoal filter and the two hoses out of the back of the wastegate, trying to find out where they go.

Yeah, that whole rail going from the charcoal filter is loose and neither pipes are connected into the overhead cam (where they are in pic 1) connected at the filter though. The top arrow in the first pic is going into the intake pipe not back to the filter like in my skyline. (custom piping)
