hey man, welcome to the forums, congtats. your car looks quiet similar to mine. unsure about the noise.. what does it sound like? has it been serviced recently? As for the fan, you could get a replacement and fit at most import workshops, just call a few up and get some prices. id be a little hesitent to shop for parts n things at repco and autobarn.

i wouldnt call up. hes just got to sweat it out. if you got an infringement notice, saying he lost his license ect.. then he will. i think you have got like 28 days until it is actually illegal for you to drive after the offence. but you never know.. could be a threat. in vic, anything over 25km you will loose it for a month or so.. i dont know other states though.. good luck to him. fear of the unknown is greater that the fear itself.

fix what ya need to fix then i would consider any of these IMO injectors, fuel pump, headers, light flywheel, brakes, coilovers, full leather, new rims, or new tyres for the old rims, plenum, new custom bodykit, carbon bonet, custom paintjob...most arent performance i know,

i bet its the fact that you have your climate control heat on 32 degress or whatever and the setting/mode at your feet. even if its comletly turned off, it still blows a little heat. i noticed it when it stated to get colder and my climate contol would be set at heat (even if off). i just turn the climate control heat down or change the setting/mode if your not using it, and you wont notice it. i drive bare feet alot so i noticed it very easily turn the climate control down, colder air. chuck your head down there and look to the left you will see a little plastic snorkel thing, for Feet mode, that will be were its coming fom

^^ yeah i saw the documentary on Disco too. the cars are designed purley for that. have like one or two gears and a reverse all in a tiptronic form. also i think by law you should get retested at 55 or 60 years old. IMO some older people have abolutley no i idea. (old ladies doing 45 in 80 zones ect..not cool)
