  3. 33 gtst's are cheap at the moment.. you shoulkd have no problem getting one for 11. i did, and that was like 5 months ago. so as far as your 3 choices, i would go with that personally. but someone who likes 32's over 33's will point you that way. 11g will see you out with a nice 32 with some goodies, a decent Series 1 33. and if you want a NON turbo then you would probably be able to score a Series 2 33. it all comes down to your personal taste. just make sure you get it all tested and checked before you buy. also keep in mind your insurance , transfer stuff and everything, cause that can be like upto 2k on top of the car once you get it (especially if your on P's) good luck with the hunting.. be patient and make sure you settle for something your satified with. welcome to the forums jake
  4. gooben glon uber glosh!!!!!! nice as. can honestly say i dont like the orange matching wheels
  5. ^^^ haha "new laws are saying that you cannot modify your vehicle at all... " If that were the case. you would need to pull half the cars off the road in Australia to enforce that statement. Well i can tell you right now, im not settling for a hatch...
  6. why do people and manufacturers make that crap....why!!!!!!!!!!!!! ???? +1 for a

  8. search first next time man. a lot of the QnA can be found in the 'sticky' threads at the top of each category.. have a read of this.. good info about looking into buying n stuff. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=35129 good luck with it mate.
  9. wont effect heatwise and air too much, i mean obviously your cutting the fan down so yeah its not gonna inmprove, but it wont affect much at all. no change in factory gauge temp for me. took some pics to give you an idea of what a workshop did for me. i just got a cooler kit. not really custom piping. just draw mark up some even cutting lines for each fan blade and use any type of tool that would cut through the plastic, i.e hacksaw hope it helps
  10. congrats man. looks nice n clean. welcome to the world!
  11. cool, thanks for your help guys
  12. F A R K!!!! you serious? i thinking it would take like 2 hours labor, plus belt, like 200 or 250 or something....
  13. jeeze.. would look ok on a coffee table, but fark people would just laugh at you...wainting for it to be on an exel, lancer or equivilant. LOL this is the only pic i could find.
  14. just a thought.. when you got your custom cooler installed did they/you have to cut your fan down a little?? had to be done to mine, and most people cut it. compare the new one to the old one, and if the new ones bigger, then just give it a lil trim.
  15. ok. got a 33 and im about 4k away from a 100k service. so im going to buy a gates belt. sweet! just curious about some figures about getting it done at a workshop? how much roughly?? i looked at the DIY thread and it seems a little much for me to tackle, plus i want to make sure its done right. just looking at getting the belt installed, thats it. cheers
  16. cause the 33s got too much power to the tonne or something like that. power to weight restriction
  17. id say the apexi logo, still, looks pretty darn sweet.
  18. brought a tear to my eye, f**k he spent so much detail on the rear wheels. good shit
  19. procrastinating from study on youtube as some of us do, and i came across this.. ive never seen such accuracy. i got no idea what kinda car it is (scary looking thing) or what is running, but it pretty insane anyone have any idea? doesnt sound like an 8..
  20. wow! looks like someone to an axe to the car. yeah, beer barron im worried to now.. ive got an exceedy H/D and stock flywheel with mild mods. am i a ticking time bomb? also what you mean by side stepping exactly kinks?
  21. think they cost upward of a 1000 to get a decent job. you would want the sunroof to retract into the actual roof which, is a decent amount of customisation. i looked into it a while ago, thinking a few hundred bucks would be sweet, but no. never heard any glamourous stories of aftermarket sunroofs in any car to be honest.
  22. my thoughts exatly. nothing sweeter than the spool. even though im on a stock turbo
  23. maybe he is cashed up large! haha he said something about wanting to run a time and see what he gets in his street trim good luck with it anyway..
  24. unless the cars either yours or someone you know, or the car is making 1000hp, there fairly boring to watch IMO
