piece of mind would lead me to do sparkplugs, oil, and other fluids at least. unless its all be done and you have document proof of it right before you brought it. 100k is reccommend you change your timing belt too. mines coming up in 7000, money , money, money.

yeah if you dont shift really quick and let the syncros match up with a more easier shift, then the shift should be quiet and clean, thats what i do from 5th to 4th anyway and theres no crunch. it doesnt bother me too much but im sure someone knows or can point you in the right direction of fixing it. also make sure you got all that water out. dont want rust building and even mold

cool thanks. yeah i have no idea about japan. only that i enjoy the cars the've made. any nismo stuff from keyrings hats, models, stickers sounds the go. plus maybe some mags. thanks guys. i know 500 is a bit of a small limit, to go performance wise. although.. are say a bosch 044 or wallbro, or tomie equivilents any cheaper over there??? all that jap writing and yen stuff confuses the hell outta me. thanks for your replies too.

ah i found it suprisingly at autobarn. just a black tube around 30 bucks, it got wires though the plastic. hard to explain.

dont know about the leak but the gear thing could be syncros. i read about it on here before. happens to me (common with 33s apparently) i get it when i shift down to quickly fron 5th to 4th.

ok well i know there a current post about what to bring back from the land of the rising sun if you had the choice. however, in this case i do. parents going over for business, and shipping some corporate things back, now i cant have anything too massive, i.e. body kits wheels. ect.. and it doesnt nessesarily have to be shipped back. just wondering (under 500) what can i get for the car worthwhile over there that i cant get here. open to sugestions in performance and cosmetic/styling category. i got a 95 33 with minor mods; cooler, exhaust ect.. cheers

yeah use stuff called 'memory tubing' it bends and flexes, expands and contacts. good stuff. kinda like a controllable slinky

i got my cooler done by Protek in Melbourne and they fitted it with no masacaring of the bar or rienforcement. id definetly recommend getting it done by a workshop, unless you know exacxtly what your doing. should be around 200 or so and it well worth it to know they its done right. im sure they already would do their best, but empahize to them you want no or very minimal cutting of the reco and bar and im sure they'll try and accomodate. pic. got new plates now and the slim lines fit just about perfect across the middle.
