as above just loking to replace my tattered S1 (with airbag) steering wheel with a new nissan one. do any other nissan models fit a 33? any fit directly on? or with minimal effort? any light shed would be good. cheers

yeah ive got the same problem too. i had just the rattle for a year then it must have got more loose and started hitting the horn everytime i did a left turn. people thought i was nuts. so cut up some spunge and wedged it up there for now with a screw driver. no noise anymore or rattle but still i would like to do it right and get the thing fix.

that would be my bet in looking. you will be able to score one alot cheaper and can get your own tests on it, rather than a car yard 90 day warranty crap, which is probably all they will offer you

a lot of there cars ive found in there yard are not in the best condition. you refering to the blue supra? nicest in there but it still looks like it might need a little TLC. i would be extreamly cautious... good luck

issue 90 of HPI the pink 33 drag car looks pretty good. the rear lights suit it well... dont know about the LED chromey plastic tacky look of the one you can get off ebay ect... ghey! oh, and hot 4 is terrible, HPI FTW!!

sorry ferni dont mean to hijack. what a coinsidence, i was about to post some help asking how to get the airbag off. i have a metal weight ringing around everytime i turn my steering wheel. kind of like a loose klunk sound. metal on metal. now it hits my horn, so when i turn the wheel (a corner) the horn goes off. its driving me nuts and other motorists who think im crazy i seriously cant find out how to get the wheel off. any help from anyone would be awesome also ferni howd you score a new steering wheel? i need one badly. cheers

well if you have 19s on a 33 it can be defectable as 18s are the biggest you can go. im pretty sure different size rolling diameter is illegal too. whatever state you in, check the on the state roads website for the rules and regs. my moneys on defect. but hey... every mods pretty much a defect nowadays.

most insurance companies require you to have an Australian standards immobolizer fitted with a skyline. funny enough.. a lot of the expensive brand named alarms and immobs arent covered by Australian Standards. i settled for just a Worlock 3 point immob (no gay alarm that goes off with loud cars drive past) on mine. 300 all up including install from JB. back wires and cover my Just Car insurance needs. if your not over fussy and dont have like a 20g stereo or valubles in your car constantly id just settle for a basic requiement system. good luck

well yeah i mean with any mods it will throw the computers reading out so getting a FC or whatever will correct them plus a full legit tune will definetly see an increase. id say its normal wind up the boost a little
