  1. i got a little bored after the 3 pages but . there several things i learned about a car and buying over the years. - not an assest. (very rarely will you get more than you pay'd for.. unless importing ect..) -depreciation is different on all cars due to what the market wants -people ask alot , people pay alot and visa versa. I think personally, that skylines hold their value quiet well, sure they depreciate and it seems that the 32 is fetching around the same price as the 33. But if theres more demand for a 32 (esp in VIC) then the price will rise. just feel lucky were not driving Commonwhores and Falcoons, brought my VS exec for like 11k back in the day, sold it for 4k 2 years later.... and i feel for all those people who payed like 20k for VTs ect.. and like a year later there fetching for 12 or even 10.. thats ridiclous!

  12. Ended up going to a NATRAD (of all places), mainly because it was conveniently close by, and a needed a lift to drop off and pick it up. all up it cost me 140 -this included testing it with dye to check for leaks -i think replacing seals if needed. -and then regasing it with R145a (think thats what it is) -rplacing a/c oil (which was empty) all up took a little over an hour and there were no extra km's on my odometer.( you write them done when filling out details) Very happy with the result justin911- depending what the issue is i think it slowly just stops working. i brought mine with no a/c so... but the reason why mine didnt work was because there was no oil or a/c oil (whatever he told me) guy said it blows at 2 degrees. which i guess i would agree as it blows super cold. But then my old man was telling me that A/C units can only blow 8 degrees cooler than the outside temp. Anyone confirm this?? cheers
  13. haha, its pretty stupid. it wont last
  14. link didnt work for me

  18. really comes down to what parts your going to put on the car, for the track. not so much a comparison between cars. i mean im sure by now, out of all the 32 and 33 battle threads that we all know what the differences are.
  19. id get the full exhaust done first. Then some sort of cold air induction (if you havent already) that should take care of the breathing side of things Then go you power FC and you wont be able to use a R32(rb20det) AFM with it, you wiill have to get the z32 or equivilant if im not mistaken. get a decent tune obviously, run boost no higher than 12 or so..(still 12, is pushing the standard turbo) and you should see around 200.
  20. sweet. thanks for the help
  21. ah k So is it really damaging to the afm or anything or not that big of a deal?
  22. yeah ive got the factory coilpack cover on it, didnt see any water or anything anywhere else. so random. Ive driven it on other rainy days before, washed the engine at the car wash and have never had any issues. its got me stumped
  23. Driving along today in rainy Melbourne and out of nowhere my car starts spurtering (kinda like jolting), so i slow down and it eventually cuts out. Fair enough... I try and start it back up, starts fine, idles normally but when i rev it a little sputters and cuts out. checked all plugs, cooler piping, battery, ect.. fine. Then i noticed my pod filter was a little wet and the induction tubing going up to the hole for factory intercooler piping was, is wet. Which is normal for a rainy day. Anyway i dried the area, waited about 30mins then started it up and it drives fine now. no prob Could water have gotten into the AFM via the sucking pod and caused the cut out?? or should i be looking for anthing or other signs why this would randomly happen. car runs perfect now any thoughts?
  24. +1 not a fan of the wing personally
