  1. this was never going to end well... good luck with the sale
  2. just say pretty please with cherry on top thanks again
  3. [GT51R] was driving around with a 500+awhp r33 gtr with a t51r turbo and it lasted the punishment, and thats with a huge turbo coming on hard n fast. Plenty of other boys as mentioned with big hp on stock boxes, i wont be overly worried but i would always have a couple of grand aside just incase it did let go
  4. hows things traveling for a tuesday order?
  5. did you sell it for a 1/4 of a mil??
  6. just check my r34 (gtfour na), its lightly engraved. The plate itself is so finely engraved i doubt any dodgy person would beable to redo it by hand, its just too neat. Im not worried haha, i know the guy that owned it previously and it was a personal import, shes a pearla
  7. ^^^ how old are you hoang? try shannons if you're over 25, they have a better agreed value than places like just car
  8. by neo do you mean safc neo? you can wire that in and drive it around with out a tune. If you dont touch any settings (ie everything is set to 0) then the car will just run on the stock ecu tune, but of course you want to get it tuned because its pointless otherwise The boost controller doesnt need a tune as such, but your safc neo will with the increase in boost. When they say "tuning the profec" all they are doing is setting the boost settings, nothing to do with your tune of the car. You can set the boost levels yourself, its quite easy. For the stock turbo run somewhere around 12-13psi. Put the boost controller in first, set the boost to 12psi then put the safc neo in and get the neo tuned to the new boost level.
  9. just wondering how things are coming along?
  10. if all goes well, what sort of time frame are we looking at?
  11. hey mate, stick me down for the 5 puck clutch, that will make the minimum of 4 people for the group buy to go ahead. I'll need the push type to suit a r33 gtst I'll transfer the money now for you
  12. got mine today, looks brilliant left some feedback for you, thanks again
  13. my brother is a marine mechanic and he uses those pumps on most inboard engines where its pretty much impossible to get the sump plug out. Seem to do the trick
  14. if all the parts are brand new, and hes not working on the car himself (ie a drive in drive out price), i would expect a bill of at least $20k+ alot of money, but you get a lot of engine
  15. the picture you drew is exactly how a manual spring and ballbearing type bleed valve works. Theres only one other type of manual bleed valve that i know of and its just like a "tap", same principle as a water tap. The sping type are much better as far as manual controllers go. i would just go to any performance shop and just get a new turbosmart bleed valve, it cant be much more than 100bucks, if no good go to repco and they'll have something, someone will have one in stock. You'll spend all afternoon going around trying to get the right parts for the current bung one.
  16. haha microsoft paint FTW
  17. looking nice, did you just put the rb26 covers on? What was hitting with the bonnet? I hear somepeople having issues when running the stock manifold because of the extra height, but with a greddy plenum i would of thought that would of given enough clearance?? how much chopping do you need to do?
  18. ^^ yep the whole lot will swap over (rotors and calipers) just as easy the brake lines do vary though, so everything will bolt up but new lines may need to get made (same for the gtst)
  19. Fronts: 18 x 8 +31 Rears: 18 x 9 +37 will fit fine, you dont have to worry about rolling guards etc I used to have works meister s2rs which were 18x9 +28 offset and they sat nicely, no rubbing whatsoever Even with the "18 x 9 +24, 18 x 10 +37", that should fill the guards nicely, but with +24 up front you may get some rubbing on full lock
  20. so you are still going to try to get the s/s braided version made up? if so, what sort of timeframe are you looking at (i understand you have a fulltime job and no license)?
  21. you're not fooling yourself with expectations of an 11s pass, with 400rwhp thats definately on the cards. but unfortunately a 11s pass is not where near the fastest R34 around
  22. much respect the owner must be nothing short of being insane
  23. thats what the gtrs have from factory, but there isnt two afm inputs for the normal gtst's gt-t's. The only thing i've seen that is simular to what you're mentioning is running one afm, but use a ypipe in the intake so it only get half the air. When tuning you then halve the afm values and you've effectively doubled the reading power of the afm. I just dont like the idea of that because its not neat imo and it can be a bit rough for daily driving (cruising rpm)
