  1. looks insane, but what would happen to the good old a/c and p/s
  2. hows the tuning time going to compare against something like a powerfc? will more time be needed on this new ecu which would mean more tuning $$$ or is it easy to work with?
  3. short answer: you will need a crank collar longer answer: all rb30, rb25, and early model r32 rb26 cranks are narrow and need the collar, the later model r32gtrs, r33gtrs and r34gtrs have a wider "snout" and dont require the collar to fit a pump like the jun
  4. i didnt know hks made pistons that big for the rb26??
  5. if it sits dead on 1500rpm, the tps is bugger as mentioned above. If there is anthing wrong with the tps the ecu will go into a safe mode and just idle at 1500rpm. Check your voltages at the tps at fully closed and open, and if they seem correct adjust the idle screw on the throttle body.
  6. interesting, what your night time visability like with those eyelids?
  7. you need to pull the box out and put in new syncos, its not a DYI job. Its pretty much a gearbox rebuild bar changing bearings.
  8. how many kms has it done? they tend to let go at the 140,000km
  9. looking for a quick sale my bro has the djetro + a twin HKS GT-SS to go on his GTR, want some tuning money
  10. Item:BNR32/BNR33 GTR Power FC with handcontroller Age:few years Condition:Good Price:$780 INCLUDING DELIVERY TO ANYWHERE IN AUS To Fit: (What car) Any r32 or r33 gtr Location:Perth Contact:pm Comments:This is the standard version (runs afm's), just plug and play like most powerfc's. Has the standard map, and is only up for grabs because my younger bro got a djetro at a very good price. Everyone knows what these are capable of, good chance to pick up a bargin
  11. very impressive, keen to see the new results
  12. sounds like he's just trying to talk his way out of it. If you arent happy, let him know, and dont accept his answer until you are happy that you have a product that you actually paid for. Going off that picture i would of expected the lowest setting to be simular from front to rear. On the lowest setting, is there still plenty of shockie travel, or does it look like its sitting on bump stops? maybe its just a spring problem this time around?
  13. sorry for the late reply, since i bought it i havent checked the thread The radiator i got wasnt for my r34, it was for my r33 gtst and i've got nothing but praise for it. Looks great, top welds and everything is in its correct spots (ie mounting postions, the shroud locations etc) Delivery was quick aswell, im a happy chappy
  14. ^^ you'll need side feed injectors, these are top feed, so no they wont work
  15. as mentioned, they are the same
  16. sounds good, keen for pics: +1 on changing the font colour for the sponsor though, yellow is hard to read
  17. hey mate, If you sold your rb20det you should be able to fund most of what you want to do with the sale. You could pick up a rb25de from a r33 fairly cheap and drop it in, but the r33's have vct (variable cam timing) and you'll need to use the r33 harness and ecu to run it properly or you could try and source a rb25de from a r32 which has no vct, but they are pretty rare to find. Other than finding the motor, everything should be fairly easy to bolt up. Your gearbox is exactly the same as a r33 rb25de anyway so thats all good, then you would just need to plug in the correct ecu and get a suitable exhaust made up, which isnt all that hard. Or just buy a stock na skyline...
  18. i'd rather buy the harness adaptor to suit your car and not molest the stock harness
  19. the emanage is a full piggy back, not just fuel like a safc. You buy the harness adaptor and you dont need to touch a single wire, no cutting, just plug and play. If he's charging you to install it, he's on drugs, its practically the same as installing a powerfc. The tune shouldnt be anymore than 500 for a basic setup (ie stock turbo @ 12psi, exhaust, FMIC etc) i'd say he's tearing you a new asshole...
  20. well done, looks very clean now very impressive paint
  21. nah the engine was original, i dont know of any legit 60k km old rb25de's that died that early, they dont have the power to break themselves especially at that age... regardless the interior told the story, worn seats, steering wheel and handbrake, definately not a clean example
  22. and that comment just shows how ignorant you are.... There is no way the majority of 60k km skylines out there are legit, yes there maybe one or two but 99% of them are DEFINATELY wound back. A car that is ranging from 10-15yrs old just simply cannot have those kms, regardless how congested the traffic is in japan and little it is driven. I've seen a fair few r33's with those sort of kms on it straight from dealers with all the correct papers, and they are piles of shit with at least 200k+kms on it, like mentioned the interior tells the story. My bosses son, just bought one, series 1 with an apparent 60k km on it and guess what it had a sticker saying the TIMING BELT WAS CHANGED, which we all know is done around the 100,000km mark... This is all meaningless when it comes to buying a skiz though, as long as you have some one knowledgeable checking it out its fine. i wouldnt pay any more than 9k for a superclean series 1 and 11k for a series 2, but thats just me
  23. i missed the other thread, what things did they wrongfully defect you on? Good work, a win like this is as rare as hens teeth EDIT: just saw the other thread, wasnt looking that
  24. is the nos hooked up now? what shot size you going? should be quite interesting
