  4. so if my work s2r's weigh 21kg on the scales with tyres, then they should be simular weight to the stock 34R rims then??
  5. ease up tiger, i just said what ive actually seen with my own two eyes, i never said i was right...
  6. every n/a block that i've seen that has the provisions for the turbo oil and coolant feed didnt have the oil drain i wouldnt bet my left nut on it, but i would say its more than likely a series 2
  7. so whats an average 245/40 tyre weigh, 5-6kg? i would of thought the r34 rim would of weighed abit more cheers for the replys
  8. the r32 rims have standard 235 wide tyres (forgot the profile) with roughly 60% tread left
  9. Hey all, Just wondering if some one with a set of the stock 18*9 r34 gtr rims could stick them on a set of bathroom scales and post up the weight for me. I've weighed the stock r32 gtr rims with tyres at 15.5kg each which are extremely light. The r34 rims are obviously bigger and should weigh more, but i was just wondering what they did weigh. With or without tyres does matter, just want a rough idea.
  10. the normal rb25det from a gtst doesnt have the provisions for the front diff to bolt up, best to use the stagea rb25 if he want a whole new motor or you could go a rb26 aswell, depends on how deep you pockets are...
  11. the easiest 2 options are: 1. Turbo your na motor, in which case look in the na section, as theres plenty of info on this and will work in the same way with your engine. 2. Go get a stagea engine, it will bolt straight in, you'll have the awd block, sump and diff ready to go. With this option you'll obviosuly have the much stronger rb25det OR build a rb30det, this is the most expensive route, but you'll have an extremely strong motor (once again plently of info, just search in the rb30 section in forced induction) Choose which option you want to go (most likely the stagea engine, since its a balance between power and money), then search on the forum, theres plenty of info here
  12. i wouldnt have a clue, but i would expect the leds to be 12v, so if you spliced into the main brake light wire it should be ok.
  13. personally never been a fan of the vs bumper jobbies that put stick on vls, it just doesnt suit. But regardless, the car looks nice and clean. Good work
  14. one rim has the SMALLEST scratch on the dish, like 1/4 the size of a 5 cent peice, definately not noticeable. These are the "deep" dish version, theres another version that looks simular from a distance but no dish, which looks no where near as good up close. If i was going to sell them i would have to get gtr rims first, but like i said its most likely crazy talk. When i get a spare moment i stick the works back on and take it for a drive. Also i just realised the pics with the works are with my stock bar, and the gtr rims are with the new nismo bar (i think that may be swaying some voters ). I'll take another pic with the works in a few day, they are an impressive rim up close, probably just a bit too big for an underpowered skiz
  15. *puts hands together like Mr Burns* excellent...
  16. that sucks, if it the only way around, ie if you went sideways around a corner and hit him, i bet the cops would be knocking on your door straight away. useless kunts
  17. any updates on this thing?
  18. were your lifter replaced when you put the cams in? if not, how many hms do they have on them? im assuming your engine builder checked the clearences and just didnt slap them in the head
  19. Im starting to think crazy thoughts now.... I'm thinking of searching for a set of r34 gtr rims and stick my new tyres from the works on them. Then sell the works as bare rims for what ever i get for them. Is this crazy talk lol?? ALSO, ive searched but i can't find a weight for the r34 gtr rim, has anyone weighed them even on the bathroom scales before? With or without tyres doesnt matter, i just want a rough idea.
  20. hahaha, that gave me a good laugh on topic, sorry to hear about that, its amazing how he pulled over, then decided all is well and took off. Useless prick
  21. i can imagine it now, someone looses a bolt or something from their car, so they just go over a nick it from someone elses hahahaha what are you doing near my car???? just looking.....
  22. obviously, an rb20de auto in a r34 chasis would be ummm well, lets say leisurely for the record i run 38psi on the street, 40psi at track meets and low 20psi if at the drags
  23. what happens when you disconnect the plug? also what series is your 33? its very odd
  24. would assume that the lines from the brembos in the r33 and r34 would be simular, but they wont be the same as a gtt If you can do without you car for a few weeks i would just send yours off, that way you know its right
  25. if its just the stock na then ....yes but thats not saying its a bad thing, like mentioned above its what you want out of your car. If your happy with it then bingo, mission accomplished. EDITED RACISM
