the back seams fine ? how much would new shocks be installed , just for the front? .... are you sure the shocks are gone . iv only driven the car like 120 kms since it was lowered . it had been sitting there for 2 months after i lowered it undriven . and it all happened when i went for a drive after15 mins...

i lowered my car 2 months ago on king super low springs . all was good until i drove it recently with another person in the car . the car hadnt been driven more than 100 meters since it was lowered. so i couldnt really notice if there were any problems , but i drove it yesterday by myself for about 30 mins and i didnt notice any noise , until i went for another drive with a friend in the car. the noise im experiencing is a clicking noise . like something is hitting , the car is so sensative - but only on the front . i took it out today bymyself and the noise persisted . started to piss me off really bad so i snooped around the engine bay for a while . i noticed that when i put weight on either side of the car and constantly push it up and down the noise would appear. from seeing what i could the problem was at the top of the strut where there is a nut sitting over the round plate and has a flat top . as i push on the fender and enforce weight , there seams to be a gap between the nut and the plate . now i pulled into a servo and bought a shifter and pliers to try and tighten to only realise it wouldnt go any tighter . the same time at the servo there was an NRMA guy there , i asked his opinion . he said it could be a rubber absorber that could be missing? now when i removed the old springs , there was the thin rubbery cover that i removed because it had frayed into several rings ,it didnt like it was doing any purpose . does any one know what i should do ? i dont want to be up for to much money as i did it myself to save money . im going to drive by marks and wallings on tuesday and get a quote , but for the mean time if anybody can help me or aid in some info i would be very greatful cheers...

good effort . although you should of made it bigger for more air to enter and circulate. also you will need a CAI feeding or the stock snorkle otherwise you wont be getting your potential.. here is a pick of mine . i have a CAI comming through the old smic hole.

yeah i didnt think it would need primer , there rims are brand new virtually - they have only done 3000 kms on them ... there isnt any chips = just 1 black spot one , which is so small... but i will fill it in with bog

would i really need a primer if im already painting onto a painted surface? i could understand if i were painting bare metal? polised etc? , but by the looks from a small chip iv seen , there is a base black coat and then the alloy colour.....

iv decided to go for the stealth look , which could require buying black rims - or in my case painting them! now iv had heaps of experience painting body panels etc .. but never done rims before .. now i was wondering is there any special things i should know ? basically my rims are mono blocks . chrome lip and alloy spokes .. im going to use a spray gun , but the thought crossed me to just buy it in cans ? here is how i would go about it , if im doing something wrong some one please step in and give me guidance.. 1/ clean rims with thinners thoroughly 2/ sand back alloy paint with 200 - 400 gritt - any higher ??? 3/ mask chrome lip and wheel with tape and news paper . 4/ apply the base coat , 3 coats? 5/ apply 3 coats of clear . 6/ should there be any sanding it between apart from imperfections? im going to use acrylic as far as paint / and of coarse clear top coat . any one think other wise? here is a pic i edited , as rough idea ... excuse my dodgey photo shop work ~

uniwred is the brand name . search it on the net , www.unwired.com.au its an isp which requires no installation ... the modem itself is wireless... all you do it is plug it by ethernet - call up organise a plan - and its done.... good service , im only selling it because iv switched to a fixed internet. the purpose of it is , you can go anywhere and be online , if you were to purchase the batteries you could be in a park , and be online.... soley the purpose. anybody want more info PM me ......

i just took the battery out and called the nrma , on the battery the light is red , which sais it shouldnt be recharged . so its blown . also it needs to be replaced by the looks , the date is up .

this all happened because i had the stereo left on for a few hrs .... jumped it twice since then , but havent fulley charged it cause i cant drive for another 4 weeks .. so its gone flat again , because one nigth i went out and was working on my car and had headlights on ... drained again ... although , the other day i walked by my car and checked the door if it was locked , and the alarm sounded cause it was armed and opened ..... the remote wouldnt shut it off , cause no power - so i dcd the battery .. i doubt the battery is gone , i think its just completely dead ..... and to the point where it wont charge through a jump . how much is a new battery? if i called NRMA they could bring one , so iv heard...

will they be able to charge my car battery - or would i need to take it somewhere..? the altenator isnt charging , is that flat - that you dont even hear it click when you start , so faint of a noise compared to the loud click

my car battery is completely dead , i have d/c the positive lead from it because my alarm wont stop sirening . this is probably the back up battery for the alarm . and everytime i connect it , it keeps making the siren .... hence the car is dead . what am i to do next ? im stumped . im considering calling the NRMA , but if i cant do anything what could they really do? any answers would be great ?
