if it were a gasket - where exactly would i be looking? it really sounds like its a vacume hose which seizes up when the car is at running temps.

hey guys ... little problem - my car seams to making a whistling noise after i start it up . after 5 - 10 mins ill let it run - it comes along with a whistling noise - which then turns into a screaching noise.... happens mainly when i give it a hard boost . then come back and let it idle. she starts the noise asap. car feels a little different when driving , not as powerfull or responsive. the leak is comming from the drivers side by the sounds of it... would anyone have any idea where it could be , im stuck... it must be a vacume hose or something... help would be appreciated.

sorry to say my friend - but gfb bleed valves are one of the worst out . they leak like all buggery. i have 1 myself.. what you are seeing is a spike . you need to purchase yourself a turbo tech bleed valve... look on ebay - it will cost you like $30 . im after one aswell... better spool up apparently and more power . more boost !!!! there is a 75 page thread on it . have a search and read results for yourself!

when i added my pod and exhaust i managed to pick up 9 psi . then i added my bleed valve ( manual boost controller - FYI ) and fmic , iv boosted mine to about 11 psi. just pick up the one DMR posted . that seams to be the go , above all other mbc's... im looking to get 1 aswell

dude look under your car . there are 2 nuts under the chasis which holds the plastic gaurd on . the mount off that to the cooler - pretty simple.

i dont really want to sell it . but im in need of money - yes i know its an old guitar , im a drummer myself - and dont really get time to play it . im hoping to rid myself of it.

after i added my mbc - i noticed shit take of in 1st . i have a gfb . but im looking at getting something better - because like the turbo tech , they just arent holding boost . maybe that could be your problem - im sure its mine . i also have a leak somewhere , it only starts wistling after iv put my foot down and let it to idle ... i still need to work out where the leak is ! - im also considering replacing all the stock vacume hoses . check all your hoses - is my opinion.

iv heard a lot of problems with those ones ... they dont hold boost or anything - piece of shite . i have a gfb and i was in my mates car who has a $30 mbc and you can tell it shits on all the others out there - im pissed i spent $100 on the gfb . you will know the difference when you put an mbc on or leave the stock running - you will feel an amazing amount of power loss. im feeling the same problems some times = im yet to get this boost controller - but this 1 has a fat adjustment bolt and holds so well.

check the vacume hose is secured and has no holes in it . or any leaks - maybe listen for a whistling noise if there is a leak .

how is it illegal for having a cannon? thats the biggest BS . fair enough he defect you for noise but not having a stock looking muffler ? what a joke .... id contest against that or something . every 3rd car these days has a cannon - weather itd be a performance car or a rice burner ....
