  1. Just saw a black 350gt on elizabeth street. Plates N350GT. Had a parking ticket on it =O
  2. Few options put on the table. * AE86 * Pulsar SSS N14 or N15 * MR2 * MX5 * AE101 or AE111 * NA Supra (I think newer ones may come close to power to weight limits though) * R31 Skylines * Integra or Civic Others I can think of. * 1976-8 Celica. RWD NA.
  3. Damn, all their friends are coming here. Someone lock this thread. We don't need anymore stupid posts like the one above.
  4. Was having dinner at some italian restraunt there. Al.. something or other. Best steak ive had in a long time. Was awesome food. Small dinner for my brothers 21st.
  5. Probably a good idea. I can definately start my car from a stand still in second. Dont imagine it any different for any other line. Just starts the car off rather slowly. So in conditions like ice or snow its ideal. Also if you're on a steep hill on a rainy day, may help also.
  6. Damn, id go buy an auto to have a "snowman" button
  7. Met Andrew at the BP Carwash on crn of Blackburn Rd and Burwood Hwy last night with a clean R31. Had a bit of a chat. Said he would probably join the forums soon.
  8. Owned =)
  9. I havent seen that movie in ages. Going to try find a copy to hire now.
  10. Have to take photos of the car with chains on it
  11. Its a pain in the ass and police look for it specifically. Couple mates have had the same thing. In relation to police not being able to make you pop your bonnet. I'm sure that if you didnt, they would simply assume you had something to hide and would issue you with a defect notice, an epa notice and whatever else they could throw at you. So in most cases, its probably easier to just go with them.
  12. Thanks for the feedback. Think ill make some changes.
  13. I think id be too damn scared to drive the car on ice/snow. Don't know what its like driving with chains on. Surprised you made it to the top allblitz. Would have been a hairy drive. On the other hand, awesome photo.
  14. Up until now ive been going out in the morning, setting the turbo timer to 9 minutes and letting the car warm up while I finished getting ready. I still wouldnt drive it hard when I left, but it allowed the engine temp to warm up a bit and allowed windows to de-mist if needed I mainly notice my clutch bites really hard or isn't as smooth if I dont warm up the car first. Obviously, this is more of a case in winter, where it makes little difference in summer. While this isn't a complete solution for warming the car up and I still drive it slowly to begin with until engine temp is right where it should be, is this actually bad for my car? Ive been doing this for over a year now almost daily. What problems would it cause if its bad?
  15. Yeah, pretty much what everyone else said. My friend got defected as the wing was thin metal. As long as its not sharp, so its rounded and not protruding, it should be fine. My friend was told exactly the same reason "It could cut someones head off".
  16. It's not that i'm expecting everyone to be perfect with their posts. Especially as I know a large portion of the forum users do not use English as a first language. However in Borko's case it was more a matter of lazy typing. As he confirmed himself. People will make mistakes and it will simply be because they don't know any better, which is fine. It's when people purposely take shortcuts by abbreviating words; or rather just don't bother to punctuate as they type as it saves time. This has been helped along by online chat services and text messaging. But, in a situation like Borko's, he is trying to get a serious point across and just hasn't been bothered to type it out neatly. When you want to be credible with anything you say, say it right. You wouldn't go to an interview in your shorts and thongs for corporate position, as regardless of qualifications or what you say, you would loose your credibility. Same thing applies.
  17. Borko, Completely unrelated to the topic, but please try to improve your typing. Reading your posts is hard to do. They are filled with spelling and grammar mistakes as well as lacking proper punctuation. It makes it very difficult to read your posts and understand what you're saying. Taking an extra minute can really make a difference and a well structured sentance/post can also give you a lot more credibility.
  18. 3rd party minimum. Always.
  19. My car should be available. Would have to confirm closer to the date though. Is a free feed included?
  20. I haven't been given much grief by police in the last year. More often than not these days I see a lot of commodore drivers or lancer drivers on their P's being pulled over. I think P plates are like a big sign to police saying "check me".
  21. Congrats Jack! Glad to hear it all went well. Now you just got to wonder if the baby will get your height!
  22. Joel Strickland who is on the forums for photography. I can recommend a web designer, PM me.
  23. Recommened you look at some R34 4-doors. Or simply change to a coupe
  24. You called?
  25. Yeah, that I know dezz. Still the benefit ive got from the extra width at the rears has been amazing.
