  1. Which meet is this? PM me the details if its SAU member stuff. I am paid, just Kaz hasnt fixed my forum access yet. I wont be able to get there till 8pm earliest, sorry mate.
  2. Yeah im there mate. Ill try bring a couple people too. 4door_33gts: the carwash in rowville is not far from knox, bout 5-10 mins away. Ill be going there. Im thinking maybe tonight as I may be too busy tomorrow. Just depends if the weather looks like it will hold. Weather.com.au seems to think itll clear up tonight and doesnt habve any rain forecast up until saturday. So given that, whos up for it and when are you free?
  3. I hate snowy because he hasn't taken me for a drive in his car yet... even though he doesn't know me... ... well I had to think of something ... didnt want to be left out

Looks like i've started something. Put me down for $40 for an SAU lada if you can get enough people
  5. Maybe Friday night then mate. When I lived in rowville I used to go to the Shell servo on the corner of Wellington and Napolean rd's alot. Could probably arrange a meet up if you want.
  6. I think they look hot mate despite the offset. Unfortunately I dont have spare rims I can lend nor can I take off my own rims. They wouldnt look particularly good on your car anyway.
  7. Go to a track day when its raining? LOL Alot of wet skidpans are closed due to water restrictions. I know Subaru Docklands had to close theirs down too.
  8. Looks like Friday is when the weather will improve so ill probably wash my car Friday night. Anyone else going for a wash before the dyno day?
  9. Eddie, love those rims on your car. Look hot.

This clip is awesome. Well worth watching lada_jump.wmv
  12. LOL. Good one
  13. :laughing-smiley-014:
  14. Same thing I did. Nobel Park Brake and Clutch did mine. Good service there.
  15. Wrong section mate
  16. Crazy buggers. Could you imagine driving that here in aust? How many police would pull you over the second they saw you. They would probably send you for a pschyciatric evaluation before anything else.
  17. The only other thing I could think of is if they were federal police, they may not be dressed in blue, but I doubt they would pull you over for a random check.
  18. Im now a member so ill probably head down. My car is close to stock. I dont expect any more than 130rwkw but we will see on the day.
  19. Possibly but unlikely. If you had a full 5 inch straight through off the dump pipe with no cat or resonator and it was below the volume limit, you would pass. It doesnt matter on the equipemtn for that kind of test, rather the volume of your exhaust. So you can try with your current stuff on, however you are looking at roughly $40 per test.
  20. 1) I think its more about driver education. Alot of mistakes happen that cause accidents, it isnt always in relation to hoon behaviour. Plus, if some of the young drivers are in a car in a controlled environment that "looses control" maybe itll scare them enough that they dont try anything stupid on the roads. 2) I dont think car removal is the only answer. You can be a hoon in a Skyline, a 200SX or your parents Comoddore. You could even been a hoon in a toyota camery. Dragging off the lights, spinning up the wheels, or driving dangerously is the driver and not the car. Taking the car away may be preventative, but they can always jump in a family members car. It will help, but I think there must be a better way. 3) New TAC add I dont think is that effective. I just looked at it and it didnt make me think for a second I should change my driving (not to say I would classify as a hoon, but I would be lying if I said that I haven't gone over the speed limit before).
  21. Hate airbags >.< Gave me a black eye for a month.
  22. Each time you get it tested it will generally be around $40. So you can try with your mods on but Skylines in general just pass with the stock exhaust on, so a very good chance that it will fail with your current one.
  23. I think it nwould definately help. Not a total solution by any means, but a cheaper way of getting the adrenalin rush is always good.
  24. TrikFab could probably make anything you need, but they arent likely to be cheap. I have seen some excellent work by them though. They are in Dandenong off dande-frankston rd
  25. "Why don't you bring that body by the workshop later and we'll work on that front end of yours" /end cheesy quote
