I just bought a Taisco Boost Gauge, got it cheap off Ebay, I know I am about to get "you get what you pay for" but I am interested to know how accurate they are. when I put it on it says my car is running 9-10 lb boost when the boost cotroller is turned right down, it should read 7lb which is stock boost My origanal boost Gauge was showing 7lb, so are asking this question how acurate are they????. When i was driving in second at 4000rpm constant then put the boot in, it shot up to 11-12 & shat myself waiting for the fins to shoot out the zorst I backed of asap. Do boost controllers raise your boost from standard. please help not game to turn bleed valve up.

After I had an wheel alignment done on my car it came back with a speed wobble at around 100k's found out the front wheel nuts were not done up properley. My mags need to be done up fairly tight or they get a slight wobble at around the 100k mark. also check to see if the weight havnt come off.

I myself would not take the mesh out of you AFM, I could not see there would be that much more air flow from doing so, all I could see happening one day your pod falls of and a big bit of debris going into your turbo (Cringe) the cons out way the benifits. When I cleaned mine I use some electronics cleaner from JayCar the fine mist cleaned it a treat. dont worry about the cleaner going through your inlets as you do it with the engine turned off and electronic cleaner avaperates on contact, you should see the oil and crap that gets sucked in from the breathers that would get you worried...

Ok I know this is a fair bit in advance but would be good to see who would be interested going next yearand make it a fixed day. I dropped in this years and as a car enthusiust must say it was fantastic, with well over 1,500 cars of all Marquees there it was a great show. It is set for all car clubs to get together and have a Picnic/BBQ with other club and display their pride & joy cost per car was $12 so you could have 3-4 people in the car at that cost. there are food tents. drinks & food vans for the ones that dont want to bring anything. A penny for your thoughts...

Just a point I dont believe all Cops are bad asses quite the contrary 99.9% are good guys I have had plenty of good experiances with them, but it only takes the .1% to make your life and any one else who runs into them a misery.

Ok so they can ping you again & again & again for a 2loud car if they feel like it(If they BELIEVE your car is to loud). they will just say you changed your exhaust even if it way under, this is crap. They need to carry dB testers to prove your car is over the limit as they do with alchahol, next they wont need breathos all they need to say is we believe you have been drinking and take your license off you. We should start complaing about Harley riders and see how they go with them...

What is to stop some aaashole, if they dont like a certain person in the street to complain about noise out of your car, when actualy your car is under the limit. just for the hell of it. It will cost YOU $25 to prove yourself inocent. then 2 weeks later does it again saying hey he must of changed his exhuast again as it is loud agian, and "walla" your back in again, now out of $50. there has got to be some legal thing with this or a recourse to claim this money back or have this person up on harrasment ???????

I had a ride in this thing on the Weekend and is a weapon on stock boost! I dont know what it has had done to it but one thing Nismoid missed to say that it has two more injectors on the air intake pipe before the throttle body so I gather one of chips is to run them

Well this has created some good discusion and good points, as most on here say if you speed and get caught or any other stupid act that could cause injury or death to another driver wear the fine or penalty. The things I dont like is Police pulling you over on asumptions that you may have this or that under your bonnet, and spend the next 10 minutes trying to find things and as they checking the old Holden goes past blowing smoke or rust all over it but thay are left alone. All I am saying is if they are going to inforce EPA rules make sure they inforce them on all! not just modified car owners who cars are more and likley more road worthy than the average car.

What peeves me of most cars you see in major accidents on TV are your average Mr Joe family cars not performance. so why do they treat people with modified cars as the bad guys. I wonder what the actual stats are on car accidents/deaths on the road ???

No I am over 40 so they leave me alone I am going by my observation of what has happend to my nephews and other younger drivers, and also I was young once(still Am) and was haseled because of owning a modified car then, but as said the olde you get they tend to leave you alone.
