I like how they don't mention the grief the people who own the cars go through after having your car flogged which is the second biggest investment in your life after your house or is that not realy an issue.

It looks like we are going to have a good turn out at the drags on the 24th so we may all want to have a chat to all, and see what their thoughts are. For the first year just to get thing rolling if the membership fee is only ten dollars, just to get the financial members and to pay for any paper that will be generated for the year and get some form of sticker so it gives a sort of belonging, as the R31 Club has. Just some more suggestions, its a start.

At the moment we seem to be going through the motions and not going anywere, I think we need to bight the bullet and register the club. Over the time I have seen that people dont want to pay the money for a cams license and that has influenced them in becoming a member. I believe there should be two types of membership, financial & Licensed. The financial keeps our numbers up and allows people who wish to come to meets and cruises to do so , but are unable to paticipate in events were CAMS license are required at least they are given options. The only other option I see for club memebers at the moment to run special track events is to join clubs like the Datsun club or SVD wich think is a bit self defeative. We have the committee so why dont we start taking memberships. I would be willing to pay my money just to get somthing happening and then when we hit the magic number pay for my cams license .

The write up in HPI on the NICS (last issue) they remap it with no problems taking it from 80 rwkw to 114 but as they say you need to find someone that can do it properly

HPI basicly say the NICS is infirior to the ECCS due to the 12 port head so there is probably confusion here to nismogtsx statements, but nismogtsx does state they are better over 300rwkw the problem being not many R31's are going near that, so the ECCS is the better engine to the average bear and even better the Silver top RB20det ECCS. But as HPI say dont dispear from simple changes you can get a descent showing from them...

Sounds good, are they out of a Red Top? If so how good are the carbon bushes on them?

As the titles says. I need a new coil pack so are they the same? would be able to get a better unit if they are. thanks in advance

HPI Mag had a write up on the redtop and they say you can put another eprom in them, just need to find were you can get one and also found one of my coil backs has had the dick as the carbon bush has worn down to buggery on number one so it might not be firing correctly on one....

I was reading HPI tonight and the article about the NICS engine and they say the ECU is mapped wrong/conservative and the things run way to rich and retarded, basicly all up the creek, my question where can I get mine retuned and the big question what does it cost

Ok just wondering how can you tell what Turbo you have on you car with out pulling the thing actual off the car. I pulled all the heat sheilds off and the only marking I can see is a U40 on it and some yellow pen with B2?? something. I have a RB20det Red top.
