R31Heaven

I was under my car today doing a thourough check on bits and actualy had a look what type of shocks are on it, they are Nismo Gas Shocks i think the number is P18 they are not a sealed unit they seem to have a screw top. Any way my question is does any one know if these shocks are rebuildable or it cheaper to buy new shocks...by hte way there is nothing wrong with them at the moment this is for future reference...

I took my car into today to get camabelt RB20DET Redtop)changed and found water pump leaking. Q1: What is the part number for them? Q2: Is the RB30 one the same? Q3: Were can I get one from urgently?

Ok I have attacked my plate as recomended by Vic Roads & others on here. I rang them this afternoon about this, and there words were bend cut bits off as long as it is afixed to the car. So out came the tin snips and some trimming & bending has accoured...

The only way I can see I am going to get it to fit without getting in the way off the number plate lights it to cut it in half and slide one half over the top of the other making the letters & numbers closer to each other...... Yep they are slimlines

Got my car registered today and the Back plate will not fit, about 10mm either side to big. I own a R31 GTS-X. Questions are: 1. can you modify the standard plate to make it fit? 2. Can you get a Sticker/sign writter to make one up with a reflective background. is it legal to do the above any off the above if not what the hell do you do???

Were can you get windscreens for HR31 GTS-X in Australia or will place like windscreen City/ Novus fix stone chips. I have about six descent ones in mine and about to do a road worthy.

I have noticed that Jap wreckers hold R32,33 parts but dont hold R31 parts I know they are harder to get as the rarity of gets greater over the years & thought this would be a good reason to get them, I know the volume of R31's is not as great as the 32,33 but also the Aussie car owners are always after the gear and just cant get it. There is a company called R31House in Japan that has parts for them, can any local wreckers who have contacts in Japan actualy contact this Company to whether us poor R31 owners can purchase any of their gear? looking forward to replies

The R31 GTS-X that I have bought does not have stickers on the back does anyone know if anyone in Australia has them or can get them.....
