Hi guys, got a bit of an annoying problem on my r33 gtr. car is pretty standard with a catback only. yesterday i drilled out the factory restrictor with a 2mm drillbit which gave me 12 psi boost. goes pretty good and dosent lean out, splutter or carry on. What i have noticed though if i ease the throttle to about half way and increase my boost pressure past factory boost it it goes straight back to stock boost. even if i put the foot down after that. But when i switch the car off and start it straight after it will run 12 psi again no problem. This is very strange. need some expert advice please thanks Anthony.

yes i do. i want to keep it in. dont want to run the risk of blowing the stock turbos up. but what i am asking does the full exhaust bring boost up, if so by how much....

hi guys just hooked a boost gauge on my car and it runs 10 psi with only a 3 and 1/4 inch catback exhaust. is this normal firstly? by finishing off the front pipes and a higher flowing cat will it increase my boost. if so, by how much roughly? And what sort of kw gains are expected just from the front pipe and cat? thankyou Anth.

it would probably suit me better. id probably be able to take off at a lower rpm. Would suit my stock clutch better
