hey guys thanks alot for all of this feedback , i think i may stick with my first decision and get a 33 for the newerness reason and also the sleep look due to me wanting a sleeper with some nice power eventually , but thanks once again to all of u for ur thoughts if anyone else has thoughts please keep posting as im after every bit of information i can get my hands on

hey guys sorry if this is already some where on the forums , at first i stated i wanted a r33 although a certain r32 has caught my eye, i was just after ur own opinions , pros / cons on both models , so i can get a bit more of an understanding of what im really wanting out of a skyline thanks alot jarryd.

hey guys , thanks alot for all this input and making me feel welcome , i really have in mind what i would like a series 2 gunmetal grey r33 stock or with minor mods like exhaust / blow off , although i seem abit weary of the unknown / jap name exhaust systems on some skylines i have seen wheather this makes a difference or not im not sure that just me, i will just have to wait around and hopefully i can get some decent money for my ute as i dont really want to get a loan and the chance of getting a decent r33 for around 10 - 11 g is a little dreamy i think Demoniak , that sounds like a pretty good deal u got there , do u mind me asking what dealer it was from ? Bunta , neat car mate , but i would really like gunmetal grey or silver last options black or white , lol red just isnt my colour and i know i just wouldnt be happy with it also on a way off note a fella i work with has a black r33 skyline with the plates im2qik do any of u know this car at all ? he took me to a workshop and showed me it , it looked fairly tough ..

i was following a r33 gtst the other day and when he booted it , it blew black smoke , is that common or whats the go there ?

i dont care about fuel consumption i drive a 2.7L hilux atm i know the turbo will consume more fuel than the hilux but that doesnt worry me

yeah i would really like to get a stock standard one and i mean stock , no exhaust mods or anything so i can work up my self knowing what is done etc

that sounds great i hope to sell my 99 hilux and depending on what i get for that will determine on what i buy , i want something reliable but also a car that i can have abit of fun and enjoyment in as well

i had abit of a bad experience with a nissan gtir engine awhile back snaped conrod just lead to one thing after another , how do the r33 engines go in general ? also i forgot to ask how thirsty on fuel are they with ur daily driving only booting it little bits? , after that experience i am a little bit weary of nissan engines although that may have been just my bad luck..

hey guys i just joined up here for some newbie help im sort of in the market for a r33 skyline ( sick of bumpin around in 99 hilux lol ) i was just after some opinons of them also if i do decide to buy one what should i be looking for problem wise , rust , noise anything like that ? is private better than a yard ? .. also if i do ago ahead buying one i would like to do cruises do you guys have many crusies etc ? anyway any help would be great cheers jarryd.
