  1. This is great news Pauly. Im sure u will feel like a free man once you are back on the road. Best of luck with it all mate. Catch up soon. Ada///M.
  2. Seriously some ppl have no real clue do they. This story just goes to prove to me more and more than most drivers on the road see their cars as vehicle to get them from A to B and have no real concern for others that cherish their cars like the members of this and other forums. Sorry to hear about your accident and I can only hope that you car is back to supreme condition soon. Did the rear bar need any work prior to this? Great if so.... PITA if not. Best of luck. Ada///M.
  3. Yup the lads were very very messed up on this stuff..... lol. Ada///M.
  4. Yeah it has its quirks i suppose ..... not a bad forum the old M3F. Oh and BTW... get well Chris, just thought I would bring this back on topic.... lol. Ciao Ada///M.
  5. LOL..... Thanks for the Tip Al...... I will keep this in mind. Ada///M. DAMN, mind of their own mate.... mind of their own....
  6. This is just wrong on so so many levels. I called Tony this morning at 10:30 which I dont think is too early on a Saturday morning and he was hardly making sense. Then I could hear, what can only be described as a Wild African Hyena laughing in the background, it certainly didnt sound human. Anyways, Tony WAS supposed to come to my place at around 12, here it is at 1730 and not a word......! So if you want to be totally knocked out by a drink, I can certainly recommend these beers to anyone that may want to get a little messed up..... LOL..... Ada///M.
  7. Hmm playing netball you say.... I see... Hope you get better Chris. Take care of yourself mate and catch up soon. Ada///M.
  8. Due to the amount of times I actually come into this forum, this is the first time I have seen this thread.... BUT.. I hope that you had a fantastic Birthday, I'm sure that you would have. We will have to catch soon for a coffee. Take care and enjoy the rest of your Sunday. What happens if a car comes ???????? Ciao Ada///M.

  17. Thought ppl might interested in this. This was posted in The Age. Kelly Burke May 3, 2007 - 2:16PM The Federal Government website boasts it's free, quick and easy. But day one of operation for Senator Helen Coonan's Do Not Call register has been fraught with technical glitches, as tens of thousands of people rush to list their phone numbers on the new site. After numerous attempts to register failed, smh.com.au contacted Senator Coonan's office only to be told by a spokeswoman: "We're very happy with it so far." She referred queries to the Australian Communications and Media Authority. "There's some technical issues, we're working through them with the provider now," said the authority's media manager, Donald Robertson. "We'll be putting out a statement shortly." According to Service Stream Solutions - the Melbourne-based company which won the government contract to set up and run the register - the site is designed to handle 700,000 registrations an hour. But by midday, with about 50,000 registrations completed, the system appeared to freeze. A spokesman from the company denied there were any problems with the site, other than being a little slow due to the high level of traffic. He had managed to register his own number earlier in the day in less than 20 seconds, he said. When theage.com.au tried to log onto the site not long ago, an error message appeared in place of the home page. "The Do Not Call Register is currently experiencing very high demand, thank you for your patience," it explained after several attempts at logging on. After continual clicking, the website eventually appeared, only to crash again as we attempted to sign the online version of the Do Not Call Register. Once the technical glitches have been ironed out, consumers who have registered can look forward to totally telemarketer-free homes from May 31. Almost. Under the government's legislation, politicians, pollsters and not-for-profit organisations such as religious, educational and charitable institutions will still be permitted to cold-call those on the register. Senator Coonan said the exemptions were "an appropriate compromise", given that the aim of the legislation was to protect consumers from companies "flogging you things you don't want". Telemarketers who breach the legislation may be fined up to $1 million for repeated offences, and the penalties will apply equally to offshore call centres. Senator Coonan said she noted with some irony that India had recently established a similar register.

    Ztuned R34?

Only seen this car once at Calder and it looks FAST just sitting there, so with the right tune, I could imagine the thing being bullet proof.

    Anzac Day

Hey all. Have been considering for the past 48hrs to HTFU and go to the Dawn Service in ST Kilda. I think it would be a great way to reflect and shown the fallen and the diggers still here and on service our great support. Just curious who may be keen in attending, then going for breakfast maybe at McDonalds at StKilda before rolling down to Sandown. Here are the details ppl. Thinking of meeting around the 0530 mark, will advise where as soon as we have found a suitable place. Melbourne Event: Anzac Day Dawn Service Date: Wednesday, 25 April 2007 Time: 6.00 am Venue: Shrine of Remembrance Forecourt, Melbourne Details: Please be in position by 5.45 am Contact: RSL Reception, Anzac House, Melbourne Tel (03) 9655 5555 ,or email [email protected] Just trying at the moment to work out a much better venue than McDonalds for bfast (but may be the only thing open on the Public Holiday). Will keep you posted.
  23. I have to agree with Mav, another fantastic evening. My apologies I could only do a guest appearance... (only stayed for 30mins) but was great to catch up with everyone. Dee, hope you had a very very happy birthday evening, Im sure you did. All the best until we do it all again next year.
  24. Great to hear and see that the Cruise went sensational. Well done to Dan and Al for leading the pack. Sorry I wasnt able to tag along although there are always other cruises and look forward to catching up with everyone at Sandown.
  25. NSW would be good QLD would be awesome BUT... I think some play in our own backyard in TASSIE sounds like an awesome idea. Dont have to drive for 100's of kms to get there and plenty of fun can be had on the way. My vote is for TAS NOV.
