  1. Haha my cars in pieces so don't get worried about me turning up on your doorstep any time soon.
  2. Hey!! Just looking to see if anyone has the new HKS Hipermax III's running in their car and if they can compare them to the older model II's. Statistically I think the odds are against me finding this person but I had to try anyway! Just need to know whether or not they have improved over the II's, gone backwards or haven't really made much change. Thanks heaps if you can help out!
  3. haha I believe so ... this is becoming quite amusing! Maybe I'll give up on finishing my car and focus on where else I can get you to drive me
  4. Why is the maybe list always longer than the yes list.... and why is there never a no list?! I swear you guys say maybe even when you know your not coming
  5. You had me at Hi. You can tune my r33 foooo shooo!!
  6. What about this one Slim???? http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ca...em-t213845.html
  7. Definitely go a larger A/R as paul recommended. I don't think the one you posted would be too street friendly. For your suspension have you looked into any of the Jap coilovers? I was going to SK suspension but have now opted for a HKS coilover from doing a search and recommendations of people who have been in and driven cars with those coilovers but then that also depends what you're looking for in your suspension...
  8. 0 ! My damn car hasn't seen the road in 6 months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! /ends rant
  9. I'll volunteer if needed
  10. I was using a generalised power range to make an example that if you are spending how ever many thousand it costs to get your car at those goals what is a couple of hundred to install a hassle free fuel pump? Someone may be able to answer whether or not someone is actually hitting those targets with the tomei, nismo or hks.
  11. haha if you find that telling your mates how awesome you are makes your pump work better that's fine but I find that everyone who runs one of the "name" brands always end up justifying their purchase. I've read quite a few threads where people have had their Boschs fail on them and so chose to buy a Tomei because of this. If your spending the money to make your car do 250-350 awkw what's an extra 200 bucks to make sure it gets the fuel it needs??
  12. Nismo/HKS/Tomei Doesn't matter in what order they all do the same thing and are all much better options than the bosch. You pay for piece of mind that these things are built to perform!
  13. I believe it is $1200 for a twin pulse flange or $1000 for a single pulse flange... I'm pretty sure I paid $1000 How long till your looking at doing all this? I'll be going down to my mechanic and can get a good shot of my ETM manifold.. this is one but doesn't show it very well..
  14. Safe yourself the hassle and get the money together and either get a 6boost manifold or one from Leigh down at Extreme Turbo Manifolds. I've got one from ETM and it's well worth the money.
  15. I have the m80 in my car and haven't run into a problem with it yet. Fortunately no one has tried to steal my car so I can't comment on the effectiveness in real life situations but I'm sure it will do the job I had Daniel from PPI install mine and was very happy with his service and I think it cost me all up $680 which included alarm, tilt sensors, the ultrasonic sensors and auto window closing control unit.
  16. Hey man how did you go trying to sell these?
  17. haha your the best!
  18. Can we maybe make the thread a little discussion one? I find there are threads out there that end up 200+ pages and a lot of it has nothing to do with the topic
  19. You driving Steveeee----EEEEE???
  20. I find it ridiculously easy myself. Just use a keyword of what I'm looking for and set it to only search topic headings and so far I've never really had any trouble finding what I'm looking for but for some reason people tend to have problems. Just mentioning last week I think I saw three threads started about fuel pumps for r33 gtsts. I don't even think the other threads had left the front page. Now that is just lazy!
  21. Someone should start working on a search faq
  22. I most definitely should have figured this out before buying stuff but unfortunately just didn't come across the information so bought out of ignorance. However after receiving the 256 inlet cam I knew I would either be keeping that and having VCT or getting a new cam to run adjustable pulleys. Thanks for clearing that up for me. My mechanic told me it would work fine but I just like several sources and more importantly a SAU person
  23. So I got the usual HKS cams for my car 256 intake and 264 exhaust and also got myself some adjustable cam pulleys. Here's where my confusion is... I gave said parts to my mechanic to install and he said when he tried to put the intake cam in the bolt patterns didn't match and because I was going adjustable cam pulleys that intake cam wouldn't work. So I said fair enough just get the cam that I do need................... on closer inspection of the box of the new cam say rb20 264 stock code of the cam I bought is 2202-RN172 and the new one is 2202-RN174 Is this possible to do? Someone please explain to me what is happening here?!?! guys
  24. I went the HKS route with the 256 in and 264 out. Haven't got the car back yet so can't give you real life experience but from what people told me they go the larger exhaust cam to help get those gasses out but get the smaller duration intake for a less lumpy ride in the street car. I have a HKS 256 duration intake cam I'm trying to get rid of ... the one that retains the VCT (I went adjustable pulleys and bought the wrong intake cam )if you decide to go down that path. Never been used and a lot cheaper than a shop. Drop me a pm if your interested
