    Fuel

WTB: Your choice of fuels!! we get absolutely frak all up here in Gladdy. We have a BP that doesnt sell ultimate, a Shelll with no driveway left (digging the tanks up after 40+cars had engine failure after they filled up there) a Mobil that sells Premium something or other and not much else.
  2. good to see the depth of knowledge some people here posses, Great input HairyMerkin.... Anyone else care to add to the initial post request in a suitable fashion? Cheers
  3. Need More Info! Is the key and locking/immobiliser system a NATS (Nissan Anti Theft System) Key or is it a wierd and wacky japanese version of hollandaise sauce mixed with a car key? Post us up a pic of the key (preferably not the serial numbers either, another way for a*&holes to track cars down) If its a nats key its a simple 30 second procedure if u are quick on the brake pedal and key turning, if not, any Nissan dealership can program it for you (we usually do this through the consult system) or they will show you the manual programming process Cheers, Allan
  4. Well, im in the market to replace the rear parcel shelf speakers in the GTR with possibly a set of 8" Focal UtopiaBE subwoofers and im chasing some feedback on the product itself and previous installation experiences people have had with parcel shelves. Im not chasing bassive bass and all out grunt, my days off doof are all but over, i want a system to reproduce my music to its fullest capabilities, i dont want it to 'Just' play my music Current gear i have ready for it are a set of Polyglass 6.5 splits with adj X-overs, Nakamichi headunit, Focal Power [email protected] amp and Stinger Pro cabling. Now where did i see that dynamat and those deflector plates... Input appreciated, Cheers

  6. Recently upgraded to a Jim Berry 'Carbon Special' I am rather happy with the results, stock car atm tho For the money i had spent for the JB vs the same money on an off the shelf after market item i have got a far superior clutch that in theory should well outlast the off the shelf item. Oh, i went from a twin coppermix to a single If you ever feel the need to talk random car 'Stuff' call Jim Berry and have a coffee handy, he likes to talk and ask ALOT of questions about what you want, he wants to make sure you are getting what you need and likes to explain how the rotational axis of the earth has a small efffect on the random engagement of the clutch at X amount of rpm lol Good luck with the clutch endeavours
  7. AhoiHoi. after 2 days of web searching im still stumped for a reliable and reputable fault code list for an R33 GT-R V-spec. I seem to have found approximately 11tybillion pages of R32 info but not very much on the 33. I seem to have fault codes 75 or 7 and 5 ( 7 long flashes and 5 short flashes on the comp led) any help would be GREATLY apreciated as im getting very scared of the possible transfer case damage this could be doing. On a side note, i did find a reliable way to get the fault codes from the ets pro computer without going to a hopeless nissan dealership thats never seen a gtr before Step 1: Remove the parcel shelf cover inside the boot so you have a full view of the battery and underside of the parcel shelf Step 2: Find a nice piece of flat long straight road to perform this test on Step 3: Drive your car at 30 kph, no more, no less, for 1 min straight. Remember to follow the road rules and basic guidelines, if this means using hazard lights in a busy area, please respec other road users and do so Step 4: Stop the car, dont shut off the engine. Pull over to a safe part of the road and get out of the car and open the boot. On the drivers side of the underside of the parcel shelf you will see 2 small metal boxes. These are the ABS and ET-S pro computers bolted together. the lower one will be the ET-S computer, on the underside you will notice a small round window, inside this window is a led. Look carefully and count the flashes this led strobes through. From there you too can spend countless hours looking for fault codes too!! Remember, the led will flash in a synchrous manner, ie 7 flashes 1 second apart then it will break for 4 seconds and flash the next code or repeat the same one if its the only fault, which i hope for your sake you get none! Hope this helps and by bloody christ, i hope someone can help me!!
