hi there i recently had the fun of experiencing limp mode (wow they got the name right lol) after my AFM filled up with black crap soot etc after a backfire. Ive cleaned (properly with carb cleaner etc), full reset, and the car has been driven for hour or so to map new ones and it running much better but its taken a few drives and time to sort itself out, although i know its doin small tunes and adjustments as things change each time......however its not boostin much and is generally sluggish etc Its orib been about 2 half days since it has been reset So it is coming good but very slowly...... - am i better off going in for tune /dyno rather than waiting for computer to sort out - does it look at differents maps after a while to choose best thanks for your help

hey all, ive read thru relevent stuff on boost cut, rich/lean retard and i cant seem to find anything on how to enter the diagnostic mode via the incar fuse box , the wrkshp manual says u can short circuit 2 terminals (fuses) and erase current data eg O2 rich lean, boost cut, limp mode ( hehe cracs me up) and get bac to std config. It also mentions u dont need consult to do this on a sII 1996 r33..... I think my liner is in limp mode has anyone done this ? and am i one the right track to getting out of limp mode/ rich retard? thanks 4 ur help

ive been running vpower now 4 about 2 months in teh 1st week the motor started to run cleaner rev more freely and this improved all week. ive gone bac and tried ultimate etc and also fuel economy when drivin normally (not v often 4 me lol ) has improved (550 km per tank good? )_ those out there using the ethanol blends from the discounters beware there some dodgy servos (no way ? ) out there upping there eth blend to cut costs........

hi there, Ive recently bought a stocky R33 and cause ive got some time to kill want to fit an intercooler. Ive looked throu forum here and havent found anything specfic to the greddy. Was wondering if anyone has fitted one of these and if so how it went and any advice would be a big help. It seems fairly straight forward but any tips would be great Also looking for an online install guide as the one i got is in japanese , damn new i shoulda leanrt japanese at skool lol Also what the best tool to use to trim the bar? cheers
