  2. Hey guys, my R33 GTR came with a top secret bumper and on that bumper they used some side markers for the turn signals but they seem to have a small difference. In the pics you can see the side markers on the bottom and the "turn signal" on the top and in the other pic by itself. As you can see it seems to have some kind of resistor soldered in that is all rusty. My question is, ever since I got the car, one side of my turn signals would flash rapidly like I have a bulb out eventhough it works fine. Im thinking maybe this resistor may have something to do with it? What would I need if I want to replace it?

  4. Hey guys. Saw this picture in an ebay listing for a spoiler blade. Asked the seller about the diffuser but got no response. Anybody know what it is and where to get it? Other than a retrofitted R34 diffuser, I personally never really liked any other diffuser Ive seen on R33’s except this one. Thanks in advance guys!
  5. Anybody using NRG short hub on R33? So I'm looking a Momo pattern short hub for my R33 GTR and was leaning towards an NRG short hub since they look very nice. I've seen some people mention that they have used this hub but I am confused on one part. How would the bottom of this NRG hub as shown here Mate with the clock spring on the GTR Can someone please clarify this for me or recommend me some alternatives that WILL work? Reason I want a short hub is because I already have an NRG quick release kit and when paired with a normal boss kit it move the steering wheel very far back from the indicator levers which is kind of awkward. Hope somebody can pitch in

  7. Door Lock cylinder replacement tips? Hey guys Im trying to find instructions on how to swap out the door lock cylinders, cant seem to find anything. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Im actually planning on swapping out all the locks but already found some info on the ignition cylinder and the boot that look pretty easy but am not certain on whats involved with the doors
  8. Best way to remove nismo garnishes? Hey guys, I recently just bought a new car and want to transfer these parts over to my new car but I'm not sure what the best way to do it without damaging them. First the pillar garnish I'm thinking the whole plastic piece can be removed, but I don't know how it is removed without breaking the clips. Tips please? Second are the spoiler end caps For these I need to take the actual stick off the end caps and reglue it since the endcaps are not the same color. What's the best way to get these off and reglue them? Hope you guys can assist.
  9. that's the thing! the key and the inside lock move around just fine! they even unlock the other door because of the central locking! even though the lock shows that it's unlocked it still wont open! so it's not like i cant turn the key!
  10. Hey guys i need some urgent help!! My driver side door lock has been acting up for a while, sometimes it wouldnt lock on the first try but eventually it would work. but today after fidling with it trying to get it to lock i managed to lock it. after that it wouldnt unlock! Neither the key OR the inside will unlock it!! Since it's also closed i cant really get the door panel off to see wtf is up! What do i do???? Can i get to the door latch screws from the back and maybe cut them off or something?

  12. So im getting a new boost controller and im stuck deciding between the greddy profec b 2 and the hks evc-s Im looking for fast and stable boost response but relatively easy setup can anyone share their opinions on these two controllers?
  13. yea, 1 3 and 5 should be batch fires which are the same ones im having trouble with, so yea
  14. yea, after allot of trouble shooting today it looks like some cylinders might not be getting fuel so i'll be checking that tommorow
  15. im not getting spark on cylinders 1,3 and 5 is it possible that this could be a problem with my powerfc itself? does the PFC have some kind of diagnostic to check this?
  16. have you had any luck with this? im having this EXACT same problem with my RB25 but im running a powerfc cylinders 1,3 and 5 are dead..... we're fearing it might be the ecu since the ignitors are built into my coil packs it's definately getting fuel since i pretty much had a huge puddle of fuel on the ground after testing
  17. wools i checked out the picture. problem is i will be running a non watercooled turbo so that diagram wont work for me guess i'll just have to get a radiator breather tank

  20. So i was wondering, how am i supposed to bleed my coolant system with the greddy IM installed? In none of the isntallation guides was there any mention of how to hook up the bleeder valve also, what kind of brackets has everyone used to be able to use the stock r33 throttle cable?

  22. Today i was installing my new timing belt and ran into some confusion The tomei belt has the timing marks on it, so i aligned them with the pullies at TDC.... But, when i put tension on the belt and crank the engine manually 2 revolutions the marks on the belt no longer align with the pullies, but the marks on the pullies still align correctly with the timing marks ive tried it 3-4 times with the same result every time is that normal?

  24. Is is safe to shave 2-3 mm's off the block in this area? reason being that my manifold is making contact right there and if i could shave a small piece off it would fit
