Hey fellas, just bought a 38mm wastegate, and there seems to be a problem, after putting in it, i double check to see if it was all connected right, and now when i start the car, my wastegates goes off? while the car is running ( and this is just standing still ) it sounds like a exhaust? and when i went to test it and takes so long too boost? and also a funny smell too after lifting the bonnet up? rb25det, gfb boost tap thanks

update : now my car dies out when cold in the morning, it goes when its warm? and yes the rpm drops once you put it in drive, but slightly goes up when in neutral? hehe thanx

hey guys sorry to dig up teh old post, i forgot i posted on here for help on the car?, anyways just a update, i got my checked for WOF and it failed coz of engine mounts, but that didnt solve the problem, andther thing is when you stop at lights, the rpm remains still it doesnt move at all, but car still rattles or shake... BUT i notice one thing, when at stop at lights i turned on the air con and the shake tend to be less shaker then then the air con off? im going to get a ssecond hand IAC and see how it goes... any help will do cheers

ok i have a toyota camery also called a scepter wagon ( automatic ), the problem is when stopping at the lights the car tends to shake or raddle? and if i put it into neutral it goes away? im not to sure what it is, but i want to find more info on the problem before i take it into dodgy mechanics.. cheers

Ok first if any has got the english or maybe has one of these installed could you get back to me, coz ive had it installed at this performance shop just minutes away from my house and after installing it, there was no sound coming from my external wastegate? he said that he cant go any further till he gets a proper manual in english to finish of the job, he also cant find where the hose goes?, so right now its just bolted there. heres a link below which shows a diagram with a little english on it. *note* i had this purchase second hand and im not sure what boost the recent guy had it set http://www.fl-mr2.com/modifications.html thank you

Nissan Skyline R33 gts Coupe 94 (unfinished project RB25DET) This was a rb25de but had a engine converstion to a det. Ive had the engine modded bt didnt get around to convert the diff,replacing the studs,gearbox,drivetrain,clutch, but had the flywheel changed with aftermarket, so so far what ive done with the car is: ENGINE: front mount i/c 600x300x76, 38mm tial wastegate,hks ssqv,blitz pod, strut brace, changed the radiator,cambelt done,oil changed last week, INTERIOR: auto boost gauge with warning light, auto tacho meter, mp3 cd player, racing steering wheel,blitz turbotimer, EXTERIOR: 18INCH chrome maps wit tires,custom front bumper(unpaintd) ,full exaust system 2inch from the turbo straight throuph with a 2/5 tip. ive had the basically the lsd diff with axel and the stud conversion and gearbox with the drive train bt had it sold as i didnt have time to instal it due to babys arrival! So basicaly its unfinished! And gna sell it as it is! Old engine has done 200,000k and for the new engine itr done roughly 130,000k and note it hasnt been certed due to being unfinished. Really just want a estimate price on both cars cheers

the cars done 139k had oil done last month, its more rattle sound, but it looks like its coming from around from where the belts are?

ive owned the car for over 4 years now, 94 r33 coupe, mods ive done to my car are, front mount,38mm wastegate, cold air box, HKS spark plugs, hks ssqv, thats pretty much it? it losses boost when over 4000rpm? reading my boost it hesitates and drops when full throttle?

oh my bad, umm theres a funny rattle sound come from either the engine bay or around there when i turn the car on, but it goes away? and also im loosing boost?
