Hi all, I have my R33 skyline coupe roof racks for sale. They clip on the door frame and are fully padded, They leave no damage to the roof of your skyline. Can carry bikes on your coupe, or anything ladders even Ikea furniture! lol The racks can support up to 80kg. I'm also happy to help fit these on the roof for you. I have google searched the shit out of racks for a skyline & have PM'd and txt'd the SAU member who owned that GTR. I hope to hear back soon, I've very keen on getting a thule roof rack kit to suit a bike Carrier.

If anyone has found a kit of roof racks which fit a R33 skyline coupe i need to be able to take the MTB's out on the weekends without relying on my brothers lancer with my tow bar fitted,

I wish i could have had time off work to make the trip to Melb....

Second hand units are the cheapist option and there is no risk involved. Just need to find one with around the same km's.

ive had many problems running a turbosmart plumbback in my R34 with it bogging down under slight boost. So ill give this mod a try, also I heard if you crush your stock bov in a vice alittlebit, it will make the spring tighter which will make it handle more boost. im going to give both a try.

Don't down grade in ages! I got a R34 gtt, I would never feel the need to buy a 20year old car even if its a GTR

hmmm, That could be something to check, Don't buy a new one just go to a import wrecker & pick up a second hand one. what type of boost controller are you running? Manual Tee peice? if it feels lethargic, does it show your making boost? if so how much? You may have a bent actuator rod which could have it slightly open & letting pressure escape.

I can pull the actuator pole out, its not that hard... said "R32" actuator My stock R34 actuator

Also is there any other wastegate actuators which it bolt on to the R34 which will run higher boost. garett, HKS ect...?

ummm, I dunno I checked out the turbo, no staftplay at all & spins fine. The guy I bought it off bought the engine for parts for his other R32, so the turbo was not needed. I can pull open the actuator with my hands, takes some strength but I can do it. I hated my manual boost controller it spiked, creeped, droped off bost in high rpm, I just wanted this idea to work.

Can you open up the stock actuator? It looks like a sealed unit... I think the actuator is running fine, im just thinking that the R32 gtst actuator does not have a 10psi spring after all. But it seems to struggle to reach 5-6 psi, So maybe its not working.

I have used this peice of info in the DIY section. Bought a full Rb20 turbo and dumppipe for cheap as chips, swaped the actuators out in my R34. It should run 10psi without a boost conrtoller with no spiking & creeping, so I unpluged mine took it for a run & it was laggyish & only pulled around 5-7psi on my boost gauge. My theory is, the wastegate is open just a little bit, which is letting out boost so im going to try adjusting the length of the pole going from the actuator spring. Would anyone have any ideas on whats wrong? Or should I change out the actuator again to my stock R34 one & run the boost controller & sell of the turbo I bought & forget this idea ever was going to work? Thanks. Nick!

im only running 10psi, or sometimes it creeps to 12-13psi

I got the same problem at 5000rpm my car pops & stops gainning power then 6000rpm it jumps back in to power till redline. I assumed it was my coilpacks, But I just dont have the spare $600 at the momment, incase thats not my problem. I have been doing some research of bikirom daughter ecu board for the R34 which is $550 fitted with the same capabilitys as a power fc. So im going to try that first then replace the coils.
