i have nothing but admiration for the people that build these cars. it takes a lot of time and dedication to do it. i didnt realise they were mostly built around early 1930s. yeah, they probably deserve the plates more than i do. that doesnt stop me from wanting them still, if anyone still knows of any good 33 plates let me know, thanks.

I dragged myself to a hot rod show on the weekend. Only to discover why i have so much trouble trying to get good plates for my skyline. I have a 33, and wanted to incorporate 33 into the plate, but cant find one left that i still like. Its cause all the old hot rods have them. There was a tonne of 1932 model cars with 32 plates, as well as a few 33 plates, including QIK 33 and also TUF 33. Both plates i would have liked to get. How does a skyline driver compete with all these old fogies in their hot rods.

No mate. I live 2 hours out of brisbane. Once i get some splitfire coils, which should be here on monday. i would like to give it a crack down the quarter. With a little more boost though.

Mate, im new too so i have no idea what the RB20E means. But i can say for the tuning part, having a skyline as a base is a great starting to point to reaching tuning glory. If theres such a thing.

Na man, its running a GT35/40, just running low boost. It has an XTR core, and has been hi-flowed but i dont think it made much difference. Thanks for the specs GB.

Hello everyone, i have recently become a member and thought it was about time said hi. I drive a nissan skyline R33 built by sub zero, but what i am wondering is some standard specs on a series 1 R33 turbo. Such as quarter mile times or 0-60 and 0-100kmh. A friend of mine has just bought a SRT RAM truck and believes he can beat me on the street. My car is currently running 350rwhp on 10psi, yet he thinks his big heavy truck will beat me. But just to piss him off i dont want to beat him, i want to destroy him so i will probably wind the boost up a bit. But if anyone knows the standard specs on the R33, please let me know.

My R33 is doing the samething. It only happens when the car gets warmer though. Probably a set of splitfire coils would fix it. I have a set on their way for my car now. Also maybe check plugs.
