  1. Yes there is. Hence a S2 front bumper won't directly bolt onto a S1. Have a search man, there is 100's of threads on it.
  2. I ended up running mine in the factory location. I couldn't be f**ked putting it down so far and wanted it ready for my tuning. The way I figure it is on normal driving there is no way it is doing the sensor any damage (my exhaust temp sensor is right next to it and the temp on cruise is very low). Fair enough on WOT it might get hot for it, but considering they say it has a limit of around 900-1000 degrees, it still doesn't get anywhere near that in my car so it can't be killing it that quickly. Fair enough it might reduce it's life but if it fails in a years time than I'll consider moving it, for now i'm going to see how long it lasts where it is. Live life on the edge!
  3. Nah not yet, hoping to have it Monday
  4. Hmmm well I might be keen on the GTT steering wheel so let me know if you swap it Because yours is a S1 which doesn't have dual airbags that's why the airbag wouldn't hook up. On the S2 it "should" work with the airbags.
  5. How's this coming along? Interested in a few more details regarding the interior Do you know whether the 350Z steering column bolts in? I'm pretty sure the steering wheels are interchangeable as I have seen Skyline steering wheels in 350Z's so maybe the steering column would be aswell. I really like your project and was looking at the steering column on a 350Z the other day which got me thinking lol.
  6. Thank you very much! *runs to garage*
  7. I was tidying up/painting some crap near the windscreen wiper motor/ABS and had the wiper motor unplugged. Didn't bother writing down or taking a photo of how the plugs go on because I "memorised" it. Didn't end up getting it done last night, went back to finish it off today and I had forgotten how the wiring goes! Can some one please have a look in their S2 GTST engine bay and let me know the order of the wires? Every model of Skyline seems to have a different wiper motor and I can't seem to find a clear picture of the wiring in any of the photos of my car I have. Lesson learnt, write down everything! Anyway here's the photo of the three plugs and three wires, can some one let me know what goes where I'm assuming its a 12V constant, earth and trigger wire. Yellow wire Black/Red wire Red wire *I tried plugging it up from memory and I got the order wrong and blew the fuse for it. Really don't want to do any more trial and error blowing a fuse everytime* Thank you!

  9. Pic don't work bro.
  10. Have a read buddy: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...or-t268134.html If the light is on constantly it means their is a fault in the system and the A-LSD is not functioning meaning it is open wheeling constantly. Could be an electrical issue such as a damaged wheel speed signal sensor or a bunch of other things.
  11. Wow a lot of very unique upgrades. Good luck with the sale man. Just out of curiousity, how hard was it fitting that GTT steering wheel? Direct swap? Airbag functions? Got any more interior pics Always thought about fitting one of them and using the Tiptronic buttons for something...
  12. I have a stock radiator cap if you want it. $10 and it's yours.
  13. Well from my understanding of such a process, they still have to make a carbon prototype, trial fit it and make sure it fits fine and then put them into production. So it probably still wouldn't be for a while but i'll let Shane give a better ETA. I'll make my payment tomorrow
  14. Just a heads up, Turbosmart don't make exhaust systems so it would be a different brand.
  15. My god that is gorgeous! You leaving it like that or ceramic coating it?
  16. Thanks guys. I'm going to look into whether HEL would do some custom made braided lines to replace the four brake lines on the firewall (for ABS models) or two brake lines on the firewall (non ABS models) that go from the master cylinder. No real "performance" benefit but I figured for the good prices we are getting these at it would be a nice looking mod in the engine bay I've seen a few pictures of guys that have done it and it looks quite good. I'll let you guys know if some of you would be interested; I know one of my mates is very keen.
  17. I hope you aint running a stock fuel pump trying to push those figures....
  18. Hmmm I suppose. I thought maybe they just made black ones now (I bought mine ages ago) and that they were cheaper than the polished ones. Either way even if it aint genuine it's pretty cheap and at the end of the day it is just a catch can, not much can be "wrong" with it.
  19. I don't see why it wouldn't be real? Why are you doubting it? I have the same one but in polished aluminium.
  20. No worries guys glad to help
  21. First thing's first. There is technically no "series II" GTT. People usually just refer to the later model as a series II, however in reality it wasn't called a series II from factory like the R33 series II was. This is why you are having a hard time finding info or people knowing exactly what you are talking about. So to find photos of the differences it's pretty simple; the older years are what you are refering to as a series I (98,99) and the later years is a series II (2000,2001,2002). It is bugger all difference other than the slightly changed front bar and a couple of other things. Hardly worth calling it a series II.
  22. Nah it will be missfiring if he is saying its coughing and spluttering, mine was the same when it was stock. Was fine on stock boost, as soon as we put it up to 10psi it kept missing and had to go to .8 plugs with the factory coil packs which were dying.
  23. Yeah it's pretty decent. And in reality it would probably be closer to 800-900g because there would be less fluid used in the new clutch line compared to the amount that runs in the factory line
