  1. It's finished man, hence the pictures above of them fitted. If I do one again i'll let you know.
  2. Oh woops my bad lol. I didn't even click on that picture to see what car you had
  3. So here is the clutch install on my mates GTST. As you can see it replaces the entire factory setup Here is the massive factory line removed. For those kids keeping track of their cars diet here are the results: Factory setup - 828g New clutch line - 97g Weight saving of 731g Not bad ay
  4. La Bomba is my hero. I love that guy.
  5. Your problem is called "missfiring". If you do a search on these forums (or even on Google) you will get a better understanding of what it is and how to solve it. It could be as simple as needing new/lower gap spark plugs or replacement coilpacks.
  6. Wrong section buddy.
  7. Yes you can take the plastic lenses off. However you can not buy new OEM replacements. In the group buy section there is a group buy I am organising on the worlds first aftermarket R33 glass headlights. However you will have to wait a while until they go into production.
  8. Whole headlight assembly or buy glass ones from the group buy I am organising.
  9. Depends really. As long as you don't thrash your car, slam on the brakes, pull over and turn your engine off you don't need one. If your car is stock standard you don't really need one. Remember the purpose of the turbo timer is to allow the turbo to cool down by letting it idle for a bit (circulate oil and water through it) if the car has had a bit of a thrashing. No car really needs a turbo timer. You can simply drive sensibly for the last few minutes of your drive or simply let the car run for 20 odd seconds when you pull up (don't have it running for like 5 minutes like some wankers do). It is just the practicallity of having one and the fact (the main reason I like the Greddy one) is that they usually come with a lot of handy features such as voltage display, lap timer, 0-100km/h etc. If you allready have one and you can install it yourself, you might aswell.
  10. Get in on this lol http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Cu...re-t334490.html Actually that is quite incorrect. HID's run off a hell of a lot more voltage, not lower. On start up a typical HID ballast will output 18,000-24,000V (18-24kV) for up to 30 seconds (this is called the warm up time). Once they are at operating temperature a ballast will output around 85V. What you ment to say is HID's use less power (Typically 35W) P=VI Just thought I would add to this aswell so people don't get confused. A projector used for a halogen bulb is not the same as a projector used for a HID bulb. While a halogen bulb projector does work better with a HID bulb over a reflector, it is still not perfect. This is the reason why in the glass headlights we are designing with Spinto we are using Bosch projectors made for HID bulbs so there is a perfect focal point and cut off.
  11. Got the footage yet?
  12. TMS is pretty much the best place that does Microtechs in Townsville. Go in and ask for Pete if you want to have a chat with him about it.
  13. Oh yeah that's right, you had a GTST kit, my bad My mate has his engine out at the moment so i'll quickly dummy fit the clutch line from the master cylinder and see how it all fits.
  14. You should have gotten a bunch of mates over and played pass the parcel. I used to love that game.
  15. What seat rails are those currently on there? Easiest way is to piss off that seat rail there and buy a Skyline aftermarket seat rail that will bolt straight on.
  16. I have no idea man. You got a link? I could never find whether it was a replacement of the whole line or just the rubber line. In theory though there is no need to replace the hard lines since they can't expand.
  17. With the R33, because the rear struts are mounted up inside of the parcel shelf it actually gives them a very good mounting position by using the complete parcel shelf for strength. You can however fit a rear boot brace (which people refer to as a rear strut brace on the R33) however it would only marginally reduce body flex and really isn't that great of an upgrade. Just try and find a S2 GTST or GTR stock one for cheap since they come with them from factory (like in mine). The GTR also has a lot more bracing on it over the GTST which if found second hand can be a slight good upgrade.
  18. That's the damn thread I was looking for! I knew there was a decent thread that covered it but I couldn't find it. Should definetely have a sticky of it somewhere or something.
  19. Hahaha cheers guys. The people at the post office I go to always act so suspicious every time I rock up with two boxes full of express post satchels lol.
  20. How did you find out where he lives? IP address?
  21. Too easy Ben, glad to see the QLD guys are getting them today. Yeah I wasn't really sure on what the GTR line replaced since it was a different length than the GTST one. But I figured you GTR boys have some weird funky setup due to the AWD hence it being different I think the GTST one replaces the block, but I shall soon see.
  22. I'm not really sure on how the GTR setup works. For reference the GTST line is quite a bit longer than the GTR line.
  23. You can download it off the net. About 1.5GB from memory. Or you can post up the VIN in the Nissan Fast thread and some one else will check it for you.
  24. I'm not sure on the exact details as in 2000 onwards the models start to change so much. http://www.carpoint.com.au/all-cars/privat...=1&__N=1216 1246 1247 1252 1282 903 53 1708&silo=1011 See that one is a V Spec I 2000 model and has the grey seats. It would have been a certain month in 2000 when they did the change over.
  25. Actually I think you are right about the diffusers. The V Spec I had them aswell, my bad. Ok now with the black cloth seats these were originally released in 2000 on the V spec II which replaced the V Spec I. However the base model (non V Spec) GTR's from 2000 onwards also got these seats. So no you could not get them in a V Spec I. I was merely listing the differences between the V Spec and V Spec II. Basically from 2000 onwards the base model GTR was identical to the V Spec II other than the carbon hood I believe.
