  1. Lol I had a mate like that. Once made up he bought an awesome big HP R32 GTR. He then said it rocked up by truck, he found something wrong with it, sent it back and got a full refund, all within a matter of 24 hours without any one seeing it
  2. Yeah Basti your pic don't work man.
  3. You obviously have no idea what I am talking. I am talking about the particular car you posted up "EVLR34" and the story that goes with it. Like I said, very poor choice of car to post up to start this thread on.
  4. ...umm probably not the best choice of car to post up to start the thread...
  5. Well I dunno what your car setup is, but usually when a person runs an atmo bov on a stock ECU it will run a bit richer on gear change and cause a bit of a pop/backfire through the exhaust.
  6. Judging that it says you own a 1995 Skyline in your profile it will be a series 1 or possibly a series 1.5. Not a series II.
  7. Lol what is that? That has to be from a completely different boost controller, not the Profec B II. Now if you look on page 9 of the installation manual it clearly says:
  8. Ohh dude, that aint me/my car in that video I posted (if you notice its a R32/RB20). That's just some random video on youtube that I found lol. I am well aware on what a missfire is and how to fix it.
  9. Here's a read of it if any one wants to have a look how "different" this Chinese made product is to conevential octane boosters... http://kereta.info/automax-nanotech-fuel-e...ngs-more-vroom/
  10. You need a torx spanner if it is the right thing im looking at in that picture.
  11. If this is a genuine sale and you aint trying to rip any one off.....than you should be able to sell it for $10,000 instantly. Hell if I was in Melbourne i'd grab it for $10,000 straight away.
  12. The standard ones fail and cause missfires due to age, that is all. Brand new Nissan coilpacks are just as good as Splitfires, but the price is what comes into play.
  13. Looking forward to seeing what the wheel looks like installed
  14. The car sounds like a machine gun and makes popping/farting sounds.
  15. Yep exactly. Hence why it is illegal to fit a HID bulb into a halogen housing.
  16. It's not just the whether it is a projector or a reflector. In essence there are four types of light housings for what you are discussing: Halogen reflector Halogen projector HID reflector HID projector You will always get a non perfect spread of light fitting a HID bulb in a housing made for a halogen bulb. The halogen projectors just aren't as bad as the halogen reflectors. The cap you are reffering to is nothing specific to a HID bulb, most halogen bulbs have this cap on them. If you look at series II R33 headlights they are the same.
  17. Most of them are 1 bar so you probably wont be able to.
  18. You should be able to pick up a manual CA for $4,000 if you look hard.
  19. Word.
  20. F**k that's dodgy. From memory the black box is for the standard boost gauge in the dash. Is that still working?
  21. Your mate sounds like a pole smoker. Race him and find out.
  22. So as you have said in your other thread, you have done everything but the most crucial thing. ECU!! You can't expect the stock ECU to understand what is going on and hence why it is running like crap. I ran my GT-RS on the stock ECU for a while before I got it tuned so I know what it is like. So ECU and Injector upgrade time, put some boost into it and you will be amazed at the transformation. And yes the GT-RS does whistle a lot but they tend to whistle a lot more when they are new. The reason it is sounding so loud is all you can hear is the whistling when you put your foot down, but the car aint going anywhere due to the stock ECU. With a proper ECU and a tune you won't hear the whistling as much over the engine noise.
