  1. So that is on the front of a Stagea? I could have sworn my front was mounted differently. Damnit i'm going to have to take the front wheel off and have a better look at it. As the rear, from the picture I posted above, looks like a piece of piss to swap.
  2. God that same website posted again, good to see you read the entire thread. We are all aware why they are illegal and you can allready get defected for them. My lights are fine and I have never had any problems with them even when driving in front of, next to, or opposite police, nor do the other people's cars that I installed the kits into and adjusted. So at the end of the day i'm happy.
  3. Yep sure is.

  5. Wow this thread got confusing all of a sudden lol. Quick little story, I remember getting asked at Autobarn back in the day if we sold the bov's that go into your exhaust for NA cars, I started pissing myself laughing and then realised the guy was being serious and it was a very awkward 10 seconds
  6. Not if you can't see the catch can But yeah obviously a defect.
  7. I sent off an email asking if we have a tracking number yet so we will see, they should have been sent but since I havn't received an email I have my doubts... As to the "mounting blocks", the lines look like they do in the picture on the previous page. That's pretty much how all the aftermarket brake lines I looked into seem to come (Goodridge, HPI etc) However I don't understand and maybe you can explain it to me as to what you are reffering to by needing mounting blocks. Here's a picture that shows the rear brake lines on a GTST and to me it seems like fairly straight forward swap? The front lines are pretty much the same thing however they also attach half way along since they are a lot longer and hence what the little sliding mount on the lines is for so you can put it into position where you want. Hope this clears some things up? Like I said they are ment to be a piece of piss to install and don't require anything additional to be purchased.
  8. lol relax for f**ks sake, they are just headlights and yes they are A-OK. Maybe you should put a set in and try them out, if you don't like them, then sell them, not hard to do. You adjust the headlight a bit down to make up for the extra brightness and point them a bit more to the left so they don't point as much into oncoming traffic on the drivers side. Pretty bloody simple. I purchased five kits off of Dave for an SS, Monaro, Supra, Mazda 3 and my own and also purchased a kit elsewhere for my bike down the track. Adjusted all the kits to compensate a bit for the extra light out put and not one of those people have had any problems or complaints from other people/the law. Bringing shit like focal points into this discussion is a bit of a joke and your looking into it way to much, obviously it aint going to be perfect like a $3000 headlight of a BMW built in a factory for a specific bulb, no shit. It's not just about the extra brightness. It's also about the much better clarity, lower power consumption, much longer life length of bulbs, easier on the eyes, same price as most top of the range halogen bulbs and they have a nicer modern colour compared to a gay yellow light. If you don't want/like them fine, so be it, other people love them and I know i'll never own a car in the future without HID's, preferably factory ones on a big dollar Euro car
  9. Yep, you cant adjust camber on the top of coilovers on an R33 like you can on a Silvia, completely different suspension setup.
  10. Well im yet to have any one loose control of their car while driving towards me and smash into a school and kill a small class room full of children, so mine musn't be too bad and they're from Dave...
  11. Atmo venting catch can for the win
  12. I suppose I'll give this one more bump.
  13. Got any more pics of that drivers side headlight? What condition would you say it's in? PM if you want.
  14. When 6 month QLD rego is about the same price as WA 12 month rego you pay every 6 months in QLD
  15. Agreed. You could spend half a million dollars on an R32 GTR and have one of the quickest cars on the planet, yet at the end of the day an Audi R8, E92 M3 etc are still going to be the better cars. It aint just about being the fastest in a straight line or having the quickest possible time around a track, there is a hell of a lot more to top end cars than that.
  16. For once I completely agree with what you just said
  17. Hahaha fair enough.
  18. So do you guys strip the f**k out of your car when you go for rego or what? Do they weigh each car that goes for registration?
  19. Wait....what did you say? I can't stop looking at your damn display picture lol.
  20. You do know you can just go to Nissan right?
  21. You guys pay rego based on weight?!
  22. Your expectations of quality cars must be pretty damn low then.
  23. Interesting. So the garret one holds lower boost better?
  24. An S5 is probably the main car that would make the choice hard against the 335i, however the price tag difference makes me favour the 335i.
