  1. Run 0.8 gap plugs and it will fix your problem. If not than obviously the coil packs are no longer good.
  2. Just get a set of bulbs for like $100 and chuck them in. Yep they are illegal and not perfect in our headlights, so is 90% of the shit on our cars, who cares. Adjust the headlights a bit so they don't blind people as much and you'll be fine. They are so much better than a normal globe and Skyline lights to begin with are pretty crap at brightness. The first thing i did to my motorbike was to put a HID bulb into it as the stock bulb was like holding a candle in front of the bike and was down right dangerous. Best bloody thing I did to the bike.
  3. Guys i'm chasing a single Splitfire RB25 Series II coilpack as one of mine is on its way out (piece of shit). Worse case scenario I will buy a couple off of someone if they don't want to split them up or something. Let me know. Cheers Phil
  4. Mine are 6000K, standard series II headlights. I have them pointed a bit down so it doesn't blind people. They are bright and my mates don't like driving in front of me but they say it isn't as bad as some peoples, their problem not mine
  5. Nah they didn't unfortunately, there's is a lot different. Their vents come out of the bonnet where as the Top Secret goes into the engine bay and therefore makes it look completely flat. GTN1K is one of the only Skylines I have seen with a Top Secret style bonnet and it was custom made.
  6. Used to have Crystal Visions in mine, but after fitting HID's would never go back to a normal globe in any car I own.
  7. Well I never said I was going to buy one, but for the OP's situation he doesn't want to spend to much and he wanted something bolt on and asked if you could get a GT3076 as a bolt on, which technically you can. Personally for his situation I would put a 6boost on it with a proper externally gated GT3076, however that is easily going to push things towards the $10,000 in parts range.
  8. Not sure about the mounting blocks, however I have been told they are easy to fit and don't require anything else to be purchased so we will see. I'm going to send off another email today to see if there are any more updates. Surely the f**king things have to be ready by now.
  9. Need a hell of a lot more information about what you want from the car than just a maximum price on the turbos. There's a few second hand N1 turbos for sale at the moment, but once again really depends on what your goal is. No point recommending one thing if you are wanting something completely different.
  10. Oh nah not interested in doing this (don't have a RB26), just interested to hear how it turns out.
  11. What are you on about, you can get an internal gate GT3076 to suit a stock T3 manifold flange with the stock nissan 6 bolt dump, they brought them out a few years ago Here: http://www.horsepowerinabox.com/HPIAB2/category12_2.htm Fair enough you have to change the lines and might need to modify the intake piping, but I still call that a bolt on.
  12. Let us know how you go with them once they are on the car. Would be interesting to hear some real world experience with such a mod.
  13. Wow, talk about replying in an old thread, this thread is 8 years old! Not sure what plugs you are using but I occasionaly check my .8 pre-gapped NGK plugs and they are always perfect.
  14. Lol that was a bit below the belt Birds
  15. Your picture doesn't work. Is this the type of bonnet you mean? If so I have been wanting one for mine for years and even asked a few places whether they would make a custom one, still no go.
  16. You pretty much answered the question yourself "missfire". A missfire is a poor spark, so either your spark plugs need replacing or your 15 year old coilpacks aren't up to the job anymore, or both.
  17. Lol so true man.
  18. Lol WTF was that?!
  19. All PM's have been replied to. RB25 covers have been sold. Still a few things remaining; would love to see them gone so I can get some more storage space.
  20. I don't think 4k will cut it unfortunately. I can't remember what modifications you said your car had and I can't be bothered reading through it all so just take away what you have: Cat-back and dump pipe - $800-$1200+ FMIC - $500-$1000+ GT3076 -$1700-$1900 Clutch $500-$1000+ Injectors - $800 Fuel pump - $200-$450 Nistune - $400 Z32 - $200-$300 Tune - $500-$1000 Splitfire coilpacks - $650 Boost controller - $50-$800 This is assuming you are going an internal gate setup, if going external gate it's obviously going to be more for a gate and manifold. So in parts alone you are looking at $6300-$10000+ depending on what exact parts you allready have and depending on what quality gear you want to get. This is with no labour for anything, no fluids/service you will need to do. Plus all the little costs that start adding up when you need something or something breaks during installation. Trust me, it happens. So like I said if you want to do it, plan to spend more than $4000 or you will get a bit of a shock once it all starts adding up.
  21. Yep and the pyramids were also a little hard to build and the moon is a bit of a distance away
  22. That reply is even more halarious than the poem. PS: Learn how to bloody form coherent sentences before you lead the path of a rapping career.
  23. I actually felt embaressed while reading that.
