The Profec is really easy to use. I would first suggest reading through the instruction manual so you understand what each menu means. For example on the main screen if you rotate the dial one click it will show you what the boost pressure is set to above wastegate spring/actuator pressure. It doesn't appear you have checked this yet. Ie if you rotate the dial and it says 20% it is at 20% above wastegate spring/actuator. This should give you a better idea of what it is set to. Also I would try changing it from "HI" to "LOW" and then setting the boost pressure to 0% (write down what it was set to before in case it has been setup for a certain pressure) and take it for a spin. It should run on the lowest boost (wastegate/actuator pressure) and then check the peak value to see what you are running. It really doesn't look like the Profec has been setup much considering the gain is only set to 10% and the set gain is set to 0psi.

Man I should have asked for a bloody Christmas discount since that's probably when we will get these things. This is becoming a joke. I sent another email yesterday to see where they are considering "any day now" was last week...

Hmm very true. Would be a good idea though, even something with a rough value would be helpful. Entire aircon assembelies, seats, ABS, HICAS, door panels etc. Would be handy.

Just get a new one. I got mine replaced at a windscreen place. Ring around, I found prices varied from $300-$500. I ended up getting it for $200 because they screwed up the invoice and forgot to add labour on to the price. Aftermarket ones are ment to be better because they have the lamination inside and usually have a strip of tint on the top, plus you get all nice new seals around it.

The one you drove must have had aftermarket ones. The V Spec II's have the same seats they are just black instead of grey. The M Spec got the leather ones.
