Bringing back an old thread but didn't want to start a new one. I'm getting the same thing, 0.5V when closed and 3.5V on WOT. What's the go with this, is this correct? I'm measuring it with the car on ignition and not actually running if that makes a difference, but electrically I don't see why it would. Comments?

Just great! Another reason to be pissed off about not being able to get E85 up here. Thanks Dave! Lol

Lancer - Ex Show Car - Big Mods For A Small Car!
PM-R33 replied to KLR32R's topic in For Sale (Private Whole cars only)
Pretty decent buy for 10k! Good luck with the sale man. -
Pretty sure they are all the same, 8.30am.

Hahaha yeah man they are awesome little suckers! And you can neatly hide them with the little flap thing. Perhaps we should just rename this thread to a cup holder discussion! Name the car with the best cupholder and why you think it is the best
-
....umm last time I checked most drinks don't spill from you accelerating but more so of turning a corner and honestly the performance of the car aint that bad, I actually really enjoy driving it. It's a SP23 and I reckon it's got just as much go as the older model Ecotec V6 Commodores so it is hardly a "lawn-mower" engine for a nice chicks car PS: She said you should get over yourself and maybe get laid lol. Snap!

+1 You can remove it without affecting anything.

My girlfriends Mazda 3 has awesome cup holders. I can't spill those bastards no matter what I do
-
Hmm maybe I should just get the Hardtuned one... Decisions, decisions!!

Ohh nice! Looking forward to watching this thread.

So jealous of all those Nismo suspension components

Lol typical debater. You have no ground on which to stand on so you simply end it at that, but I am glad since this was going no where. Sorry about my poor instructions, PM some details of people you don't get along with and I will gladly email them a step by step guide on how to break into your R32 and steal it so you aren't dissapointed over the fact some one tried to steal your car but failed
-
I was going to let this go on my last post but if you want to continue this debate I gladly will. What has steering locks got to do with anything we are talking about? Steering locks prevent the thief from rotating the steering wheel due to it hitting on the inside of the car...umm yep, your point? I don't understand this entire sentence. You are telling me that hotwiring a car and hotwiring a car through a turbo timer is the same thing? Didn't I allready make that clear in my last two posts hence I don't understand what the big fuss is about with me mentioning it? At no point did I draw diagrams or show which wires to put together on a specific car make or model. The question was why was a turbo timer illegal, I explained it and gave a very quick summary. You might aswell ring up Hollywood and debate with them about them showing cars being hotwired in movies since that is essentially the same thing you are doing here. So obviously they had no idea what they were doing.... so your point is and this relates to me how? I don't call this half a decent debate since you haven't actually laid out your argument, you are simply drawings straws. You tried to make it appear like I have done something that may increase the chance of theft of possibly a car you own. Pretty sure I proved the 1 million websites on Google showing pictures and video on what hotwiring is and how it all works. I think your point about this type of information being posted on the internet has sailed about a decade ago. Please continue with a rebuttal, but I feel this is going to go around in circles.

No I didn't, I never mentioned how you unlock the car. I simple said due to the windows. However if you look in the DIY section there is a massive thread that gives step by step details on how you can get into a Skyline through the windows and how to get around it. Maybe go post in there having a bitch about it. If you know how to hotwire a car, you know how to hotwire a turbo timer. This aint magic. Any kid can do it and if you think it's some sort of secret wake up to the real world. As for the steering lock, I never mentioned that and "snapping" the steering lock is a hell of a lot harder than you may think. That is your problem, not mine. Car security is the owners resposibility. Buy an alarm, park the car in a safer place, deter the thieves. At the end of the day any 5 year old can smash a car window with a brick and rip something out of your car so stop bitching about it to me when I simply tell you a truth. It isn't like I said "If you rub a Skyline's rear quarter panel with your palm anti-clockwise three times all the doors unlock and the car starts". Lol. I'm fealing like I have exposed some ancient black magic secret on how a vehicle operates. "Fuel plus ignition, NO WAY!!"
-
I get what you are saying, I just think you are completely over reacting and acting like I have exposed some ancient secret and in no point did I give a detailed description on how to steal a Skyline. The turbo timer method is the reason they are illegal (hell a logical person understands a turbo timer keeps a car running without a key.....hmmm) and people that know how to hot wire a car know this. If anything it is a good thing more people know it so they are aware of it being a danger. At the end of the day it is simple circuits, cars do not start by magic. This is the google search on hotwiring: http://www.google.com.au/#hl=en&safe=o...6186800e24c785f 1 million websites with nearly every major "learning" website listing it including youtube so my post here wouldn't even scratch the surface. Hell I could list a bunch of cars that are very easy to break into/start due to having "flaws" in them, but I won't since this is obviously getting to you. Personally I like to learn and find it interesting, knowledge is power. Anyway get over it, this aint the place for this is to be discussed. I was simply stating why a turbo timer is illegal since that is what was being discussed, if you want to continue this discussion make a thread in the Audio and Security section.

How To Find Out If A Tommy Kaira Is Genuine
PM-R33 replied to den15b's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Full exhaust system, aftermarket ECU, boost controller, front mount intercooler, tune. Should yield you around 190-200rwkw and you will find it will probably be just as quick if not quicker than your stock R32 GTR. How your R32 GTR was able to beat your SS with 332rwkw I have no idea -
For replacement purposes they are both the same. The only differences are visually on the instruments themselves.
-
What are you using for your rear camber adjustment? I have a set of the whiteline bushes, but I think I need a second set to get more adjustment as it is still around 1 degree negative.

I popped some flames tonight when I hit limiter and thought of you

Hot wiring a car is a piece of piss and is nothing new. Any kid can google "how to hot wire a car" and learn it in 5 minutes. The turbo timer just makes it all that easier and doesn't take a rocket scientist to work it out. There is also a tonne of ways to get into a car, skylines are actually pretty damn easy due to not having any framing around the windows. The hardest thing to get around is the steering lock, but once again not impossible. If some one wants to get into your car, they will. If some one knows a bit about stealing cars, they will steal your car, the only thing you can do is try and slow them down or prevent it in the first place. *Sorry I wasn't sure if you were getting up me for saying the hot wiring thing about the turbo timer*
