  1. Lol post pics when your done
  2. Righteo this problem is fixable depending on what made your car start doing this. If you have normal steering until you get up to a bit of speed or after a small amount of time and then you get a HICAS error which causes the loss of power steering, it usually means your HICAS ECU is not getting a signal from something (usually a speed signal) or at one stage it didn't get a signal and it is in it's memory. 99% of the time a fix for this is a simple ECU reset. Disconnect your battery for a while and reconnect it. You will find it will go back to normal. If not there is a constant fault somewhere, then you need to find it, fix it and then do the ECU reset.
  3. You want have any dramas with it man. It is very straight forward and the people that have steering issues either a) Don't get a wheel allignment or b) Disconnect the HICAS ECU in the boot.
  4. Very nice Loving seeing more and more of these projector conversions in the 33's.
  5. Start reading the oil thread. There is no one definitive answer. Oils are seperated into groups with group 5 being the highest. So look at group 5 oils (Motul 300V etc). You will than need to determine what viscosity you require, with having so many km's you will probably want to look at something a little bit higher.
  6. LOL! You put way to much effort into that man
  7. This guy should become friends with this chick http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/He...bo-t320225.html Apparantely the way this is all going, in 30 years time 10 year olds will be owning 9 second 1000 HP cars.....
  8. The man speaks the truth. Fuel pump change will definetely not affect tune, afr's etc. (unless as said, old one was f**ked).
  9. Well really if you have heaps of parts there, the RB26 conversion would just be silly, so 30 bottom end it is.
  10. Wow that is insane! But yeah like others have said, the turbo choice for a car like that is a bit strange, surely something with a powerband a bit lower would be far more reliable and just as bloody quick in a car like that.
  11. No worries. It really is a c**t of a diff lol. However I bled mine the other day and it's going good again I think bleeding it really does need to be an "every service" type of thing.
  12. Well really you got to think. You have an RB25 in there allready (not sure how modified it is, but if it does have a lot of aftermarket parts, you can use them all), so the most cost effective and easiest conversion is the 30 bottom end.
  13. Well holy shit this thread got very interesting over the last 24 hours!
  14. Give me a jumper! It only gets cold up here for three days out of a year so I need to get good use out of it
  15. Pure pornography in this thread http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=295113
  16. Start reading my friend. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...or-t268134.html Safe bet is the problem lies in your aftermarket ECU (assuming this since you have 291kw) not sending the TPS signal to the ALSD ECU.
  17. I just find the 135i a bit funny looking. It definetely isn't as aggressive as the 335i. I think it is the curvy look to the sideskirts and bottom of the door that bothers me. I saw the 135i before the 335i and really liked it, even had a sit in one at the BMW dealership. But after seeing the 335i next to a 135i, I dunno, just can't go back to liking it that much.
  18. Once I get the kits (any day now hopefully) I will install mine and post heaps of pics in a DIY thread. Hopefully there is no dramas with fitting and it is pretty straight forward. You are right though, the GTR uses a hard line behind the caliper, where as a GTST does not from my understanding. So not sure how the kits go with bolting up within the different models. If anything I would assume they retain the hard line on the GTR since a hard line wouldn't expand like a rubber hose would, but I do not know, just my assumption.
  19. Is that the thing im talking about Trent, a damper?
  20. Can't exactly remember what a Neo fuel rail looks like but the setup should go as follows: -Fuel filter -Fuel line from fuel filter to inlet of fuel rail -Fuel line from outlet of fuel rail to your aftermarket fuel pressure regulator -Fuel line from aftermarket fuel pressure regulator to secondary factory fuel pressure regulator (Not sure what this is actually called, its the regulator that drops the fuel pressure back down) That's basically it I believe.
  21. I watched the video before reading the posts and thought straight awauy "This poor guy is going to get reemed for having that GTR badge on!" lol. Good video though man.
  22. Nope they don't. They are fairly cheap to buy though depending on what you want.
  23. Hey man, I have not seen exact photos of the GTST and GTR kits, however I did a bit of research before hand on the UK forums and others and never read anything about people having dramas to fit them. To my understanding they are the same fitting wise as to any other aftermarket braided line kit. I tried to ensure I was only ordering kits for specific vehicles and hence I didn't order any Stagea kits as I myself was not sure what fitted what. I'm sorry to hear for your problems, hopefully none of us have any dramas and you sort yours out. Not to long now
  24. Yep times seem perfectly normal as Ash has said. Also what suspension is in the car and what sort of tyres were used?
  25. So your car is running a T4 turbo on the stock ECU? Spend your money on some form of management and get it tuned.
