  1. I'm missing the point of your post I quite clearly stated this in my above post (post #106) and the guys in the UK are including the boot on the brake lines. Since it is not a requirement in the UK and Europe they do not put it on (why would they waste their time), but since I told them it is going to Australia they have no problem putting the boot on and always do so.
  2. My best mate is restoring a first gen (1963-1965) 425 cu in Buick Riviera. Not many of them in Aus, nice cars
  3. +1 for white over red for a S15. But personally i would go for a black one.
  4. Why would you drop the price $2000 in 6 hours......
  5. It's a piece of piss to do as you don't drop the whole subframe out since the bushes have a split in them so they just slip in. The kit will come with 6 bushes but you only use four, depending on which of the three setups you want.
  6. My clutch is perfectly fine. Been running it at this power level for probably 2 years now. No sign of it dying. However I don't do clutch kicks or limiter launches so that definetely helps. Not sure how long it will hold at 300kw, but we shall see. Luckily the car is no longer a daily so should hold up for a bit of a squirt every now and then.
  7. I gaurantee his "half the price" will work out to be the same, if not more than a local off the shelf catback from some one like X-Force or similar. What price did he say? There are plenty of options available if cost is a concern rather than going to one of the most expensive makers, HKS.
  8. Hahaha yeah I told him I gotta do one more group buy because I'm gonna get my ass kicked by people that missed out on this one
  9. Ahh the nittos, I some how missed that in the list
  10. Yeah Hamish, how the hell do you get traction in second, let alone first My setup is similar to yours other than the 1.5 way.
  11. Yeah mine is set to maximum traction aswell.
  12. So what does that mean (sorry never heard of this guy). Elaborate
  13. Yep the stock internal gates on them are completely fine and the amount of money you would spend turning them to externals would be money better spent elsewhere. Not to mention to absolutely no benefit.
  14. Hopefully this is the final update before I receive the kits and start sending them out The supplier had a delay with not having enough fittings to finish the last few kits last week, but they received stock over the weekend and will finish the kits within the next couple of days. The kits should hopefully leave England this Thursday if all goes well *fingers crossed*. Will keep you posted and sorry for the slight hicup.
  15. Rock up with a briefcase full of cash, point to the car and say "I'm either going to test drive that car, love it and give you this briefcase or im going to find some one that does, so what's it going to be?" Always a way around it, you just got to be more assertive.
  16. Ok I thought that's what you were asking. So back to my question I posted, why do you want to go to external wastegates when the internal wastegates on 2530s work perfectly fine? Let me guess, screamer pipe?
  17. Kind of hard to understand what you are asking. You want to know whether you can run an external wastegate (or two) on your setup which is currently running internal gates? If this is the case, why?
  18. Ah ok yep fair enough. Yeah steel wheel turbos sound a lot nicer than the stock one.
  19. No pod filter in an aftermarket airbox will be as quite as the stock setup. The fact the stock one is a plastic closed in airbox with a panel filter is why it is so quite. Also the stock turbo is not loud, any aftermarket turbo will be a hell of a lot louder (through a pod filter I mean).
  20. Agreed though, that does look very tuff.
  21. Hahaha gotta love some of Kev's threads
  22. You poor bastard Which E46 you got?
  23. Yeah definitely wouldn't be taking any high G corners with 20psi in them Like I said, wouldn't mind doing a bit of practice with launching. Definetely want to start getting the power down a lot better and earlier so semi slicks will definetely be on the agenda once mine are worn down.
  24. Hahaha yeah obviously. Might try them at 20psi and have a bit of practice launching to see how they hold up.
  25. So 20psi in street tyres is about the best for traction? Might give it a try.
