  1. Bringing up an old thread i know, but did you end up getting some? Reason i ask i just found a set in one of the boxes to my wheels, fully forgot i had them lol. Let me know if your still chasing them, if not ill chuck them on ebay or something.
  2. Yep never heard any problems with cam gears other than the old HKS ones and even those were a few instances.
  3. My house mate has been playing this non stop. You get to see some nice titties and then get laid. I walked passed him playing and was like HELLO!
  4. Honestly if he wants to do it, do it. Just make sure you do enough research and understand everything. Don't listen to people that have never had any experience with it and are just saying what they have heard from a friends, counsins brother. Nitrous is one of the most missunderstood modifications and it's mainly human choices and errors that give it such a bad name. (And Fast and Furious )
  5. Lol
  6. Honestly i think it would look very odd. Very obviously modern tail lights on a very obvious old car. Just wouldn't look right me thinks.
  7. Sweet as, great discount.
  8. If you hide it well enough it is virtually undetectable if you are smart about a few things. When the NOS is activated you may see some extra black smoke from the exhaust thats about it. If the exhaust pipe is nice and hot it may shoot some flames aswell if the mixture is a bit rich. Rough math for nitrous usage. 1lb @ 100HP is a bit over 10 seconds of use. So a 10lb bottle at 100HP shot will give you nearly 2 minutes worth of use. However as the bottle gets empty the pressure off the bottle will drop and it wont be as big of a hit, this is where a bottle heater comes in handy.
  9. I have one but without the snorkel. PM me if you wish to purchase it.
  10. In a way thats the good thing about it. It's something that when isn't in use doesn't have any negative effects on the car what so ever. It is only there if you need it to be. Obviously if your car is slow and you want it to be fast something like this isn't a great mod since your going to be using it all the time. But if you allready have a fairly fast car to begin with, and want something that little bit extra to have a bit of fun every now and then it's a great thing to have.
  11. Yep hence the WOT switch as i mentioned. Having an actual "push button" while being some what cool, definetely isn't the safest option. Too many things can go wrong. Best way is to have a main arming switch (or two) and then having it set to WOT.
  12. Yep Pauls kit is a great price, definetely would go for it.
  13. Yep make sure you post pics in a new thread, very keen to see them installed
  14. This sounds like a good idea. Ill go try a size on this weekend and let you know
  15. Bang for buck nothing comes close. If you can do all the installation your self the overall costs would be around the $1000-$1500 mark depending on what extra's you get and how cheap you can get a kit. Also very easy to uninstall and sell later down the track so you don't loose that much money as compared to other mods. If you don't know much about nitrous and how it works than that is the main danger. Most engine failures from NOS usage can be prevented and are usually just human mistakes. This is where the whole reputation comes from. Obviously comes down to the jets he uses. A wet kit normally comes with jetting for 50HP-150HP. On a NA skyline start at something around a 75HP shot and see how it goes. 100HP shot shouldn't be a problem. As long as it is setup fine and doesn't fail in anyway there shouldn't be any problems with the car. Main thing i would recommend for the car is to get a NOS RPM controller. They are fairly cheap and you can set a WOT activation through it and an activation RPM and a de-activation RPM. Main failures from NOS use is setting the NOS to early in the RPM range, hitting limiter with the NOS activated, not having a WOT when engaging it and a fuel failure (or inadequate fuel supply) causing pure NOS to be squirted in melting everything. Therefore the other thing i would look at upgrading is the fuel pump (im not sure how good the stock NA fuel system is honestly, maybe even an injector upgrade might be necessary). You can also get a fuel sender unit shut down system for the fuel solenoid so if it detects a fuel failure it deactivates the NOS solenoid to precent engine damage. Also would recommend a purge kit. Goodluck.
  16. Are you talking about the point at the top of the front gaurds where it meets the bottom of the windscreen? If so yes very common rust spot. Water sits there after any rain/wash.
  17. Im about 20 hours into the game, all in all not a bad game but yep definetely gotta say this game is a fail for me. If it had any other name to it, it would be a fantastic game, but the fact it's a Final Fantasy game, just doesn't live up to it. Great graphics, a billion hours of cut scenes and a storyline more complicated than a clitoris just doesn't do it for me. I dunno maybe im just getting old and getting over games. But this game just doesn't have the same feel as the old ones. Honestly every single one from 7 onwards has been more enjoyable to play than this.
  18. Yeah i gotta admit, shit sells on ebay. My mate has bought 3 cars on ebay over the last 5 years and sold his Jetski and motorbike within a week of being advertised. I sell small things on there every now and then and never have a problem selling them.
  19. Wow there is a lot to it. Level cap at 30 though sounds like it will be fairly easy to hit
  20. Definetely a missfire issue. Check over each plug and coilpack. Something is either not connected properly or something has broken. What plugs did you put into it? Did you change the gap yourself or are they set at .8?
  21. Well i was thinking more regarding turning of the wheel. If the offset it to positive, it could rub on the inner corner of it.
  22. Yep If something makes you happy its worth the money.
