  1. Yeah the diff replacements can get quite costly. A few companies in the states make some good upgrades with the diff. I've been following the development of the 335i parts from the US forums for some time now. I definetely would like to get one in a few years time once im settled in career wise and the prices go down a bit.
  2. I wouldn't really call them a rare Series 3, the different CAS was just on the last 97 model R33's. Rob two different types of Poncams for the RB25. Ones for a RB25 up to 96 model (they call this series I) and then ones for a RB25 97 model (they call this series II). So in reality it doesn't actually refer to series I, series II R33's. The 97 R33 RB25 had the same CAS as the R43 RB25 NEO (The plastic black CAS instead of the metal one). Unfortunately it looks like you have purchased cams for the 97 model with the plastic CAS. Easiest way to go about it is to get a plastic NEO CAS.
  3. Umm dude, ur answering in a 2006 thread...
  4. I'd be happy with the 335i and 100k in my pocket. Then spend 5k on the 335i and smoke the M3
  5. God i love 335i's
  6. Or the sound a Geiger Counter makes when it detects radiation.
  7. Hahaha this thread always makes me laugh. Makes you realise that we have people from mental hospitals that visit SAU.
  8. Wasn't just you, i couldn't believe how long it took either.
  9. Well considering Today Tonight directly named Clarkson, Hammond and May as the people influencing "young hoons" and trying to get it banned, i think Top Gear UK might hear about it considering channel 9 just bought the rights to it and just started all this shit.
  10. Hmm interesting, never thought about that.
  11. Nah not today. There are a lot of white R33's in Townsville so it gets confusing, just look for the one with all the carbon fibre hanging off it
  12. Very sorry to hear mate. Welcome to Townsville though When my old man got posted up here back in 2002 his Harley got damaged during transit aswell. The straps holding the bike down got loose and the bike scraped against the side of the truck for god knows how long. The damage was quite severe. Luckily my old man is quite a big guy and very intimadating so after nearly killing the employees when we picked up the bike, they they didn't hesitate in agreeing to pay for all the damages on the bike. Amazing how often this kind of thing happens, makes you not want to freight vehicles around at all.
  13. From the carbon canister its a rubber hose that goes to a solid hard line. This solid hard line goes along the firewall behind the engine, then down the drivers side along the solid fuel lines. Right at the back of the car in front of the RHS wheel you will see these lines going back up towards the petrol tank. The solid line will go back to a rubber line. Disconnect it here and just vent it to atmosphere or as i said, a one way check valve would be ideal.
  14. Hmm very interesting. Have you ploted both graphs over one another so we can see the difference?
  15. Clarkson should make a joke about it on an episode lol
  16. The voices they used in the facebook qoutes are halarious. And the old guy talking about hoons on his street, $100 says the street they showed with all the tyre marks wasn't even his street and they told the guy what to say for the camera. No way that guy could string together those sentences.
  17. Plug/remove ever single line up except the one that comes out of the petrol tank. You have to leave that one venting to atmosphere, preferably with a one way check valve.
  18. Can half of you guys shut the f**k up, my god. This thread is about his GT2, his thoughts on it and the modifications he is doing to it. I am really enjoying this thread so can we please lay off a bit. I would hate for the OP to stop posting because of some of the comments being thrown around.
  19. It can be a real pain in the ass, especially if the two screws holding the injector cap on wont come off.
  20. If they "lend" me one i will glady weight it
  21. Your right, he would proably slap the dude on the back of the head and then defect him for driving a GTST on his P's.
  22. You will need to scale the injectors through the ECU to get them running properly. You can't just install them and then drive the car.
  23. Yep that's the most annoying i find aswell, people yelling stuff out while you are the one driving. It rarely happens to me but I had some cock on Australia day yell out "do a burnout top bloke" while i was in the city, going about 10km/h with people everywhere, i lost my shit and yelled out swearing at him and was keen to do a u-turn and go to town on him with a bat i had in the car. Good times.
