  1. The 256 HKS is the only one that supports VCT. Hence most people (me included before) went with a 256/264 setup.
  2. We all know they look better
  3. "Epic Fail Guy" Hahahahaha! That's going to a lot of effort to create an account just for that
  4. I want something like this done, nice and simple. (without the Nismo writing on it)
  5. Post up pic's when you modify the cam gear cover I have RB26 covers on mine at the moment but left the RB25 cam gear cover on, it aint a perfect fit, but it aint that bad. Was thinking of getting a RB26 cam gear cover and modifying it. You just going to cut the hole so the VCT sticks out a bit?
  6. Go the HKS ones. I had them, sold them thinking they were f**ked (they weren't, it was another problem) and went the Tomei's. If i could go through it again, i would have kept the HKS ones.
  7. Had mine off the road for 6 months when i lost my license. Make sure the fuel tank is full of fuel so it does condensate and disconnect the battery. Put it on jacks if you want to take load off of the tyres. Other than that you don't need to do anything special. Strange about the fuel pump failing, don't know why that would happen.
  8. Hahaha thats nuts!
  9. Shit thats pretty good man! I can't crack under 1.41 with a normal PS3 controller
  10. Haha yeah, it is the most over complicated diff in history. I think one day im just gonna get rid of it and put a 1.5 way into it, it's such an annoying diff. Great when it works normally, but a pain in the ass when it decides not to work.
  11. PM sent
  12. The G-sensors it is referring to is the wheel speed sensors. This is what your ABS uses also, hence if you have an ABS fault, your A-LSD goes to shit. This becomes a problem when doing stand still burnouts and locking up the front wheels. The ABS sometimes gets a fault since the front wheels aren't spinning but the rears are and then the diff goes into single spinner mode. Hence not the best diff if you like doing stand stills.
  13. Hmmm not sure, i used to see it around every now and then, havnt seen it for a while though.
  14. Thanks man. I did the plenum at the same time as the turbo so unfortunately can't give an exact comparison of how much power/response the plenum gave. I honestly didn't care to much about that though, i mainly wanted it to tidy up the engine bay since the stock one is a pain in the ass when trying to work on the car.
  15. When i looked into them they didn't make a set that supported VCT. Things may have changed now.
  16. That Skyline used to be (or still is) in Townsville. I dunno, i liked it cause it was different, but i think it only suits certain coloured cars, not my cup of tea personally.
  17. I think he ment whether you snapped the intake cam or the exhaust cam.
  18. Nothing for me either
  19. Damn that sucks, i had my cams in and out half a dozen times and was so careful not to snap them cause it can easily be done.
  20. Couple of new ones of mine
  21. Sell the car, being a non turbo skyline they sell fairly well due to P plate laws and then buy some ones GTST with the basic stuff done to it, cooler, exhaust, wheels. Then go from there.
  22. Haha that sucks. How's your paint from the guard roller, doesn't put cracks into the paint?
